Gwen Stefani loves having Camila Cabello on The Voice and thinks she's similar to former coach Kelly Clarkson. Gwen joined season 22 of the show after appearing as a coach inconsistently since season 7. The No Doubt member met her current husband, Blake Shelton, on the show as he's been a coach since season 1. Gwen stepped in to coach on the show again after Kelly and Ariana Grande left. She was joined by new coach Camila who previously appeared on The Voice as a Team Legend advisor with coach John Legend. So far, Camila's fans love seeing her on the show.

While fans and coaches miss Kelly on the show, Gwen admits that Camila is a lot like the American Idol season 1 champion. Gwen was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she told her friend that Camila is a lot like her, especially with her attitude toward Blake. "[Camila] has the same mentality as you. She doesn't care about glam or about what she wears. She just talks a lot, and she's competitive, and she's you," Gwen told the host. Kelly revealed that when she had Camila on the show, she was so excited to see her go against Blake. Gwen admitted that it took a few days for Camila to show her full personality, but when she finally told Blake to shut up, Gwen knew "it was on."

Gwen and Kelly also talked about how much they love coaching contestants on the show. They admitted they feel like a parent to their team members and love watching them grow from the beginning of the season until the end. Gwen also enjoys giving coaching advice and seeing how much her team members improve from the things she teaches them. So far, Gwen has 12 singers on her team, including 17-year-old Daysia and 34-year-old Cara Brindisi.

It's great that Camila can fill Kelly's seat in a similar way. There's no denying Kelly was an incredible coach on The Voice. Fans were sad to see her go since they enjoyed watching her so much. Kelly could connect with the contestants in a way the other coaches couldn't because she knew what it was like to be on a singing competition show from her time on American Idol. She also has strong vocals and a lot of knowledge on keeping her voice healthy so she can belt out all those notes.

Luckily, Camila is just as qualified as Kelly. The "Havana" singer competed on The X-Factor when she was a teenager and was put into the girl group Fifth Harmony. Camila was critiqued week after week by judges on the show and is now utilizing what she's learned to help coach her team members on The Voice. Unfortunately, some fans of the show don't like Camila and find it unbearable to watch her as a coach. Though, she still has her adoring fans tuning in each week and supporting her on social media. It seems the ones who matter love seeing Camila's Kelly Clarkson-eque personality on The Voice.
