For the past 10 years, we've been welcomed into the homes of the Dunphy, Tucker-Pritchett, and Pritchett-Delgado households. We've watched all the kids grow up into adorable independent (and trouble-making) adults, and watched all the adults juggle multiple hats to make their households run properly. Along the way, we've also been introduced to a handful of their friends, enemies, and acquaintances.

And lucky for us, some of these guest stars are Hollywood royalty! Get ready to walk down memory lane for the past 10 seasons as we reminisce about these 10 famous guest stars we forgot appeared on Modern Family.

Josh Gad

season 3

In the third season, we're introduced to Claire and Phil's buddy Kenneth. Thinking Kenneth was just a daydreamer who didn't find success after he left school, the duo invited Kenneth over to prove to their kids that without an education, you can't thrive in modern-day society.

Unfortunately for Phil and Claire, their plan blew up in their face because Kenneth turned out to be a millionaire  tech genius and credited all of his success and lust for life to Phil. His scene with the Dunphys was short, but Gad is always amazing.

Edward Norton

Edward Norton (known for The Hulk, Fight Club, and American History) appeared on Modern Family back in season one! With the kids out of the house, Claire decides to try and pull off a surprise anniversary gift for Phil. You know, because Phil is the king of gift-giving and Claire isn't the sentimental type.

She ends up booking a bass player named Izzy LaFontaine; a musician the couple connected to when they first started dating. As always though, the plan was a disaster because Phil had no idea who Izzy (Norton) was, which further upset Izzy from playing.

Matthew Broderick

Matthew Broderick in Modern Family

Famed actor Matthew Broderick was a hilarious guest star on Modern Family back in 2012 as Cam's friend Dave. After meeting Phil at the gym and realizing they went to the same university, Phil invites Dave over to watch the big game. The only problem is Dave's gay and thinks Phil was hitting on him.

To make matters even more twisted, Dave is actually buddies with Cam (who didn't realize the connection between his brother-in-law and Dave) and was supposed to watch the game with Phil, but pulled out last minute. What resulted was Phil unintentionally hitting on Dave the entire night until he left before things got too intimate. Broderick was hilarious and genius in this role.

Aisha Tyler

Aisha Tyler is the stunning entertainer (seriously, she does everything) who's been in Criminal Minds, Archer, Who's Line is it Anyway, and BoJack Horseman. In the fifth season of Modern Family, she also took the role of Mitchell's new boss, Wendy.

After looking to find himself, Mitchell takes the new job with Wendy because they were former classmates who worked well together. The day took an odd turn when Mitchell thought Wendy was a "tyrant" but she was actually anything but. Both Tyler and Jesse Tyler Ferguson worked wonderfully on screen.

Jordan Peele

The fact that both Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key were on an episode of Modern Family makes Key and Peele fans jump for joy. And while they weren't on the same episode together, many of us can agree that Peele's episode as the ball-busting rent-a-cop made a bigger dent in the old noggin.

In "A Fair to Remember," the Dunphys and Pritchett-Delgados head to the school fair for a day of work and fun. As always though, Jay finds something to be cranky about and gets pissy when he and Derrick (Peele) are fighting over the same parking spot. Soon after, Jay finds out Gloria signed him up as a volunteer "police" officer for the day, and who was his counterpart? None other than Derrick (Jordan Peele).

Kevin Hart

Kevin-hart-modern-family

Anytime Kevin Hart is apart of something, you know it's going to be a success. In the third season, Hart played Andre, the Dunphys' new neighbor. A doctor, he and Phil get along really well and begin to hang out here and there. While Hart's role isn't huge, his presence always is. In "Planes, Trains, and Cars," Andre and Phil go car shopping. Phil is looking for something family-friendly but his heart is aching for a new sports car.

With the help of Andre, Phil ends up ditching the family-friendly version of his life and opts for the sports car. Once Claire gives Phil and Andre the stink eye about their decision, Andre heads for the hills while Phil has to deal with his wife's sassiness.

Lin-Manuel Miranda

Season 2

Who would have thought that Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda was in Modern Family!? Like many others on this list, his role wasn't huge but it sure was funny and actually quite special since he's the one who gave Stalla to Jay!

In the episode, Gloria found Guillermo (Miranda) after he had a "brilliant" idea for a business. Hoping to give back to those that need it, Gloria brought Guillermo back to her home in hopes Jay could help him out. His idea was a training system for dogs where they essentially get a good-tasting treat when they're well-behaved and a bad-tasting treat when they misbehave... Jay pointed out the obvious that no matter what the dog's doing, they're getting a treat, which is where Guillermo became upset. It all worked out in the end though because Guillermo left the house and his pooch Stella with them.

James Marsden

Is there anything James Marsden can't do? He can sing, he can dance, he can act — he's the total package. On Modern Family, Marsden played Barry in "Slow Down Your Neighbors." After finding him on their yard, the Tucker-Pritchetts approached him and found out he's their new neighbor.

Cam and Mitchell took a real liking to him because he was spiritual and beautiful, apparently being a Reiki therapist. By the end of the episode though, we find out Marsden's character was actually kind of a weirdo and was actually homeless, living in their daughter's princess castle...

Jane Krakowski

Jane Krakowski in Modern Family

Jane Krakowski, of 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fame, starred as Dr. Donna Duncan in "Under Pressure," in season five. In the episode, Gloria and Dr. Duncan go head-to-head at an open house event at their kids' high school.

Playing the bullying parent, Krakowski show's Gloria just how mean and protective she can get when it comes to her child. Krakowski also appeared as Dr. Duncan later in season nine as well.

Ray Liotta

Mitch and the kids smiling with Ray Lotta on Modern Family

Remember when it was Mitchell's birthday and the Dunphy children forgot they were supposed to spend the day with him? After promising their uncle and entire day together filled with surprises and fun, the Dunphy kids dropped the ball and had to think on their feet of how to honor their uncle.

What transpired was the kids taking their uncle on a tour of celebrities homes in the Hollywood hills. Knowing how much he loved Barbra Streisand, they took him to her "home," but the problem is the map they were given was dated. Instead, actor Ray Liotta lived there and was trying to make himself relevant to the Dunphy kids who had no idea who he was. To make up for the day, Liotta took them all on a ride to Streisand's home where they spoke to her via intercom.
