Teasing incoming set visit coverage and interviews for 'Guardians of the Galaxy', a few new images release for Marvel's space epic.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Star-Lord and Drax Board Dark Aster

Fans who nabbed free tickets to the 17-minute exclusive IMAX preview for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy this evening at select locations will have lots of details to share beginning this evening, creating more buzz for the film just in time for our exclusive set visit interviews and coverage dropping tomorrow. With Guardians of the Galaxy just a few short weeks away, Disney and Marvel Studios are in their final phase of pre-release marketing so expect news, assets and more on a daily basis as director James Gunn and the cast soon begin their world press tour to promote the release.

Empire tossed up a few new "exclusive" images although most of them had been previously been revealed, including the first official close-up look at Lee Pace as the film's antagonist, Ronan the Accuser. Take a closer look below and you'll note that Disney had already released shots of Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou), the Dark Aster ship releasing smaller Necrocraft in the skies over the planet Xandar, and the behind-the-camera shot of Chris Pratt fully decked out as Star-Lord with his mask on.

Some of the new shots however, give some more spotlight attention to Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and her working with Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and Drax (Dave Bautista). The most interesting shot is the behind-the-scenes photo of director James Gunn and his brother Sean Gunn who's sporting a green motion-capture suit to bring Rocket Raccoon to life, long before Bradley Cooper was signed on to voice the role. He does play another character in the film so will get his due screen time as the right-hand to Michael Rooker's blue-skinned Yondu character.
