The reason that the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise has become so popular within the MCU is because of how unique every character is. Their personalities are totally different and so are their skills and powers, which is what makes them so much fun to watch. But while they're a great team, there's no doubt that they also like to argue and fall out as well.

Debates over who is the strongest and who is the leader are commonplace amongst the group, and one way to settle the debate would be to enter all the characters from this franchise into the Hunger Games. A true test to see which character is actually the best, and who would be standing tall by the end.

The Collector

The Collector Guardians of the Galaxy

Out of all the characters which appear within the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise, it is The Collector that would be the first to die within the Hunger Games. He's a very eccentric character and someone who has great knowledge of the universe, which might allow him to stay alive for a brief moment.

However, in the end, he would be easy to pick off and kill, simply because The Collector isn't a fighter. He wouldn't stand a chance against these other characters, because while he might have an extensive collection of creatures, the reason for that is they're trapped. When it comes to a fight for his life, The Collector would be easily beat.

Nebula

Nebula prepares to fight in Endgame.

Nebula is a skilled fighter and someone who could certainly cause a lot of damage, but the problem for her is that she can be quite hot-headed, often rushing into situations, which isn't ideal for the Hunger Games environment, as that is how people get picked off.

Nebula also doesn't always know how to think for herself, and her desire to take down her sister would likely lead to her making a big mistake early on, which would allow someone else to take her out.

Groot

Groot

It really depends on what version of Groot was going to step into the Hunger Games as to how his survival would go. A fully-fledged adult Groot would obviously be a real threat, simply due to his size and strength, while Baby Groot would be the first to be killed within the Games.

When it comes to Groot as a teenager, he would also struggle, and considering two versions of the character aren't going to do well, it's not a good sign for him. Teenage Groot simply isn't interested in anything and would likely just be frustrated that his technology had been taken away.

Ronan The Accuser

Ronan The Accuser in the MCU.

Ronan The Accuser is someone who has got a lot of strength and power, which is something that would be very advantageous within the Hunger Games. He is also an aggressive person too, which means he would likely be out to hurt as many people as possible, making him a real threat early on.

However, even though Ronan would absolutely cause some damage, he is also someone who has big anger problems and lets that get the best of him. To survive in the Hunger Games, people have to be calm and relaxed, being able to make a long-term plan, which Ronan simply cannot do.

Mantis

Mantis

Mantis would likely spend a large chunk of her time hiding within the Hunger Games, with her supreme intelligence being a real difference-maker for her. Being smart is something that can lead to great success and survival within this competition, and it would serve Mantis well.

Her only downfall would be that other characters are a little more ruthless when it comes to fighting. This means that if Mantis was to get caught, she would likely be taken out of the Games quickly, which is why she's not a major threat to win.

Drax

Drax pretending to be invisible

Drax has got some major positives and negatives that make him a potential underdog to win, but also someone who could lose early on. Drax's big positive is obviously the fact that he's incredibly strong and he's a great fighter, which would stand him in good stead against anybody who came up against him.

However, Drax is also incredibly emotional and that often leads to him rushing into situations, rather than thinking them through logically, which could put him in serious danger. Of course, if Drax was to master the art of invisibility, then he would become a true favorite to win.

Rocket Racoon

Rocket listens to Captain America's speech

Rocket Racoon is the type of character that would thrive within the Hunger Games, especially if he was able to get his hands onto some weapons to cause some devastation. However, Rocket is also the type of character who would become far too cocky with things.

There is always one arrogant character inside the Hunger Games, and while they normally do impress and kill plenty of tributes, they normally end up failing to win. Rocket might be small enough to hide in some great places, but he is also loud enough to get caught, which would be his downfall.

Star-Lord

Chris Pratt as Star Lord in Avengers Endgame

Star-Lord is the lead character within this franchise, and while he sometimes makes big mistakes because he doesn't always listen, there's no doubt that he is very skilled. Whether it's his ability to boost into the air with his rocket thrusters, fight with his hands, or with weapons, he is someone who could battle against the best.

On top of that, because Star-Lord is quite a charming person, he would likely end up talking someone into being in a team with him early on, which would provide strength in numbers. He is someone who always seems to just have luck on his side as well, which would only increase his chances of survival.

Yondu

While Yondu is a bit of a loudmouth, which could attract attention, there is no denying that he is very dangerous. He's an experienced fighter and someone who has seen it all, which means that there shouldn't be any real surprises for him.

Yondu would be smart enough to avoid any fights unless he knows he is going to win then. However, the fact that he has his whistle-controlled arrow means that he could take people out without even needing to get close to them, which is a major advantage for him.

Gamora

Gamora leaning against a wall

Gamora brings the perfect qualities into the Hunger Games competition, as she is both lethal and very quiet. Unlike some of the other characters in this franchise that like to make a scene or as much noise as possible, Gamora would have the ability to stay hidden due to the fact she's a lot more patient than the rest.

However, just because she would bide her time doesn't mean she's not dangerous. Gamora is someone who would strike when the time was right, and because she's such a skilled fighter, she would likely come out on top of any duels, which would ultimately lead to victory for her.
