Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 stars Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji share which MCU characters they would like to see Adam Warlock and the High Evolutionary interact with next. In the comics, the High Evolutionary has ties to some of the most prominent characters in Marvel and sets Adam Warlock on his path. It seems the High Evolutionary in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be tied to Rocket's traumatic past and could still be a key part of Adam Warlock's journey.

Screen Rant caught up with Poulter and Iwuji to talk about their MCU debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Poulter revealed that he'd love to see Adam Warlock crossover with the Black Panther characters. Iwuji pulled from the High Evolutionary's comic history, hoping for a showdown with the Hulk in the future. Check out Poulter and Iwuji's full interview below:

Will Poulter: Oh, my gosh. It's hard not to sound incredibly greedy. I'm pretty grateful for how it's gone so far, but I did mention earlier that I'm really desperate to try and work with Daniel Kaluuya. So, if I can cross over with the Black Panther cast, I would not be mad at that.

Chukwudi Iwuji: Again, this has been a real gift. But I do know in the history of the comics that I had quite an interaction with the Hulk. In fact, I think I pretty much beat the living daylights out of the Hulk. So, I think I'd like to do that.

How Adam Warlock & High Evolutionary Could Return to the MCU

The High Evolutionary has the potential to be a major threat within the MCU. While Kang is set up to be the new Thanos-level threat, the High Evolutionary could quietly be one of the most dangerous villains in the MCU. In the comics, his exploits pitted him against the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men while also gaining the attention of Galactus and the Celestials. Iwuji's hope to face off against the Hulk could come to fruition as well, especially with She-Hulk seeming to set up World War Hulk. The High Evolutionary could see the Hulk as worthy of being studied, especially after he infected his cousin and had a son.

Adam Warlock, on the other hand, could be the MCU's newest hero. With James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy story complete, a new generation of cosmic heroes could step up to take their place, similar to what seems to be happening with the Avengers. Adam Warlock is an extremely powerful character and could be the perfect addition to a new Guardians of the Galaxy team, which could also include Cosmo. With Kang as the next major threat, a new team-up similar to Avengers: Endgame seems inevitable, and heroes as powerful as Adam Warlock will likely be instrumental in defeating the multiversal threat.

Both Adam Warlock and the High Evolutionary could have a long future in the MCU. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is closing out Gunn's arc, but the cosmic side of Marvel will continue to be a huge part of the story, especially with the Celestials set up in Eternals, Secret Invasion, and The Marvels. The High Evolutionary has a lot more story potential with the X-Men and Fantastic Four yet to appear, and Adam Warlock's debut could set up the introduction of the Universal Church of Truth and a new team of cosmic protectors.
