Marvel Studios and Disney have concluded their 2016 slate in impressive fashion. Both Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange have been financially successful in addition to being well-received by critics and general audiences. While this year was just the beginning of Phase 3, it is the last time Marvel will release only two movies in a year. In 2017, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will get three new installments on the big screen, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 kicking off this new plan.

The sequel is one of Marvel's most anticipated films in their upcoming slate thanks in large part to the success of the first movie, which has led to anticipation levels rising as the studios have kept fans waiting to see what is in store. The first bit of footage was released weeks ago in a sneak peek, but now it has been confirmed that the full first trailer is arriving tomorrow night.

Twitter user yournotmyprince (via Trailer Track) was able to catch the promo for tomorrow's trailer on ESPN and was kind enough to record it for all to see. The teaser announces more footage to come, but also offers one new shot that could be extended when the full trailer arrives.

It is certainly great to know when the trailer will finally be released, and for now, this tease will be just enough to hold eager viewers over for another 24 hours. The one new shot shows Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) jumping towards an alien monster they will be battling. This is the first time the alien has been seen in publicly released footage, but was previously one of the first glimpses into the movie released as concept art over the summer.

The confirmation of a trailer is less surprising after Gunn confirmed that it was finalized. Now, everyone will finally be able to see what he and the Guardians will be up against in the sequel, which star Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) has teased as being the biggest spectacle movie of all-time.

Audiences are now very familiar with the Guardians themselves, so it should be interesting to see how much of the new elements are incorporated into the first trailer. They could potentially reveal the first look at Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell), the villain Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) and more. This could also be the first chance to hear a song off of Awesome Mix Vol. 2 as well, so there should be a good mixture of new and familiar features once the trailer is released.
