The trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series' third episode has finally hit the web, and it is teasing some crucial decisions. Centering around a mysterious piece of alien tech called "the Forge," the third entry, titled "More Than a Feeling", in this five-part series appears to be diving deep into the memories of Peter Quill and Gamora.

Seasoned developer Telltale Games has made a name for itself crafting cinematic video games with an emphasis on storytelling and decision making. Constructing narratives around known properties like Batman, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and now Guardians of the Galaxy, Telltale has delivered on the promise of giving gamers the ability to play through their favorite movies and television shows their own way.

Focusing primarily on Peter and Gamora's interaction with the Forge, the third episode of this season looks to tell a more intimate story. Through its use of narrative structure, it would appear as though gamers will be able to play as their favorite heroes, both in the present, as well as the past. You can read the episode's description below:

After tracing the origin of the Eternity Forge to a mysterious temple, the Guardians encounter an eccentric being who might hold the key to unlocking the relic's true power. But with Gamora and Nebula busy wrestling with the past and Hala still bent on reclaiming the Forge by any means necessary, it falls to Star-Lord to make a crucial decision that could change the fate of the galaxy -- and the Guardians -- forever.

With differing ideas of what to do with the Eternity Forge, the guardians are, as usual, at odds with one another. Some members believe that the Forge needs to be destroyed and others are not quite convinced, hoping that this mysterious relic can somehow serve as a positive force.

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series has not widely been regarded as the best in the developer's deep catalog of licensed games, but it has not been hailed as an incredible failure by critics yet, either. The series thus far has been pegged as a bit bland at points - but with three episodes left, there is plenty of time left to change the overall consensus.
