Every fan of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy knows Groot is a tree-creature of few words. But now that the newest issue is allowing Groot to be the one controlling the perspective, fans get to see how conversational Groot actually is... and how his friends' vocabulary is limited to three simple words.

In the series so far, Richard Rider a.k.a. Nova came searching for the Guardians of the Galaxy, hoping they would help him oppose the newly resurrected, and more evil than ever Olympian Gods. Sadly only Rocket Raccoon and Star-Lord agreed to assist him. Together with Nova, Phlya-Vell, Moondragon, and Marvel Boy, the ragtag group of Guardians set out to launch a secret attack on the home of the Olympians. Naturally, leaving Rocket to deliver the bad news to the team... through the ears of Groot, and his strange perception of the world around him.

The news is about as bad as it can get, thanks to the team's mission going completely off the rails. The team managed to destroy the city-ship of Olympus -- and even recruited Hercules to their team -- but Star-Lord stayed behind to make sure they would escape in safety. In the end, Star-Lord killed himself along with the ship's dimension-hopping engine, saving the day. Their family only recently reunited, it's now Rocket's turn to break it all over again.
