The upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy ride at EPCOT will be opening in May. Previously announced at Disney's D23 Expo in 2017, the roller coaster will replace Ellen's Energy Adventure at the Universe of Energy building. The ride will focus on the MCU's rag-tag team of misfits and criminals known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. Original cast members from the films will reprise their roles for the ride, including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, and Glenn Close as Nova Prime.

A video shared by @disneyparks reveals the new ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will officially open to the public on May 27 at EPCOT in Walt Disney World. The video begins as a typical commercial for the theme park, showcasing family and friends together with Disney mascots. The advertisement is interrupted as space-time distorts. A message crawls on the screen imploring guests to help the Guardians save the galaxy before Rocket Racoon flies on-screen with a family of guests. Check out the video below.
