A newly discovered Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition glitch has caused one player's motorcycle to be encircled by two hidden NPC bodies that are dragged around as the motor vehicle continues to accelerate. Difficulties regarding the GTA: Definitive Edition seems to be growing every day across all platforms, as disappointed fans have taken to social media to scorn its graphical glitches, bugs, and lack of polish that make Rockstar's remastered collection to be the worst title in its roster to release. Despite Rockstar Games announcing that the Definitive Edition would be updated and improved over time, displeased players rushed to request refunds which ultimately led to delays and rejected inquires. The GTA trilogy remaster now sits below a 0.5 on Metacritic across multiple platforms, making it one of the worst game launches of 2021.

Developer Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two announced the long-rumored GTA remaster trilogy in October in celebration of Grand Theft Auto III's 20th anniversary, and promised improved versions of the three PS2-era classics - GTA 3Vice City, and San Andreas for modern audiences. Rockstar explained that the remastered trilogy would have graphical enhancements, a variety of general improvements, and modernized gameplay mirroring Grand Theft Auto V. Though information remained scant within its first full trailer, the pre-release gameplay leaked online led to overwhelmingly negative early impressions from fans - many of whom criticized the GTA trilogy remaster for appearing as a refurbished version of the previously maligned mobile ports, which evidently turned out to be true as hidden touchscreen controls within the game's code were uncovered shortly after its release.

Shared on Reddit, user squidraw posted a clip of what seems to be a newly discovered Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition motorcycle glitch. During the clip, the player can be seen riding through San Fierro with two hidden and deceased NPCs attached to the back of the vehicle's tire.  Oddly enough, throughout its entirety the NPCs can be seen clipping through the ground and at times rotating around the motorcycle the faster it accelerates. While unknown if it can be duplicatable or possible while on foot, some fans in the comments have mentioned that the glitch isn't new and that some players have previously experienced it beforehand.

Though bugs and other issues are being discovered almost every day by players, Rockstar Games and GTA remaster developer Grove Street Games seem to be squashing its ongoing issues with promised patches. In a recent update, the developers fixed the maligned thick low-quality rain effect that plagued all three remaster in the GTA trilogy. Additionally, more than 100 bugs were fixed and more patches are set to be released in 2022 to solidify the collection.

Though the influx of glitches and bugs continue to afflict the GTA trilogy remaster, the title is no longer as notoriously broken as it was during its disastrous launch. Updates are starting to correct many of its issues, and sooner or later the title might shape into its originally envisioned form.
