Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition will come to Xbox Game Pass this November. Rockstar recently confirmed it would be remastering GTA: San Andreas as part of its upcoming remastered collection, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. That said, the announcement of just one of those games being available on Xbox Game Pass is a massive get.

Rockstar recently announced the remastered GTA trilogy, causing an eruption of hype across the internet. The trilogy has been heavily rumored since the start of 2021 and has caused no shortage of speculation. Some were wondering if they would be outright remakes or if they would be similar to the mobile ports in the 2010s. It seems like Rockstar has done a lot of work to these new remasters to make them accessible to a modern audience while still retaining the original foundation.

To make them even more accessible, Rockstar has confirmed it will be bringing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition to Xbox Game Pass on November 11, the day that the trilogy launches. PlayStation fans won't be left out either as they will be getting Grand Theft Auto 3 - The Definitive Edition on PS Now on December 7. Rockstar confirmed the GTA Trilogy release date on October 22, 2021 to celebrate GTA 3's 20th anniversary, a pivotal milestone for the developer.

San Andreas Carl Bike Definite Edition GTA

GTA: San Andreas' inclusion on Xbox Game Pass is yet another major get for the service. In 2021, Xbox Game Pass has seen a number of major additions on day one with games like Back 4 BloodMLB The Show 21Outriders, and later this year, Halo Infinite. Microsoft has been incredibly bullish in expanding its service and it certainly seems like this will be one of the most significant day one titles of the year, especially as San Andreas is such a highly regarded game.

The trilogy will come with a wealth of enhancements to both the gameplay and visuals. Fans have also discovered that the GTA trilogy's achievements will pay tribute to the fans by referencing some of the memes the series has generated. It certainly seems like Rockstar is trying to make this a love letter to the fans with these remasters. With all of the new enhancements, bringing the trilogy to the Nintendo Switch, and putting some of the games on subscription services like Xbox Game Pass, Rockstar is clearly trying to get as many people on board as possible.
