Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is back in GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, and so are its most notorious missions, including the one in which CJ and Big Smoke chase after a train on a dirt bike. The mission is called “Wrong Side Of The Tracks,” and it can be one of the more difficult missions in GTA: San Andreas, though it is slightly less frustrating than in the original.

If the player fails to keep up with the train, the mission fails, and Big Smoke gets off the bike, uttering “All we had to do, was follow the damn train, CJ!” This line is one of the more memorable quotes in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, along with others that probably shouldn’t be said in polite company. This line has become a meme, and it’s back in the remastered version.

There’s more to "Wrong Side of the Tracks" than just following the train, though. CJ drives the bike, but Big Smoke is on the back, shooting at rival gang members. He isn’t the greatest shot, and players have a limited time to kill the three gang members on the top of the train before it escapes.

During the "Wrong Side of the Tracks" mission in GTA: San Andreas, it is possible to jump the bike on top of the train, making shooting the gang members very easy. Players can do this by driving ahead of the train at the beginning of the mission. At the first railroad crossing, they should take the ramp on the left side of the tracks to drive on the bridge railing, then on top of the building. When the train comes by, CJ can drive the bike off the ledge onto the train.

Players can also get off the bike here to jump onto the train and kill the enemy gang members. Once they are dead, they can go back for Big Smoke since CJ never abandons his friends. This takes skill to properly pull off, and, if the player falls from the train, they will likely not have time to complete the mission normally.

The beginning of the mission isn’t the only place where players can jump on the train. After the tunnel sequence, there is a part where Big Smoke tells CJ to take the path on the right. The path then crosses over the train tracks, and players can jump the bike from here onto the train if they are quick enough.

It is possible to complete the "Wrong Side of the Tracks" mission by playing normally too. Players just need to keep pace with the front train car, and Big Smoke will eventually whittle down the enemy gang members' health. This is the hardest way to do things, though, because it takes not only player skill but also CJ’s own skill. The more CJ does an activity in GTA: San Andreas, the better he gets at it, and this includes riding motorbikes. Before attempting this mission, players should spend time riding a motorbike to level up the skill. This could be a motorcycle or dirt bike. It will make attempting the mission easier.
