Los Santos Tuners, the most recent update for Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced KDJ and Sessanta, a pair of contract characters that fans strongly dislike. Rockstar Games rolled out the Los Santos Tuners update a couple of days ago on July 20, giving players access to car culture-based content that Grand Theft Auto Online hadn't previously explored in any real depth.

Notably, the latest content drop added a fresh batch of races, 10 new customizable vehicles, several quality of life changes, robbery-style Contracts, and the LS Car Meet. The latter, specifically, unlocked a new social hub and club that lets users showcase customized cars, test new cars on a private track alongside friends, and watch other users mod their vehicles in real-time. Auto Shop ownership serves as another recently implemented feature, opening the gateway for players to initially meet KDJ and Sessanta - partners in crime who use their skills to lead the charge on robbery contracts. But while their contribution to Los Santos Tuners leads to interesting gameplay opportunities, KDJ and Sessanta themselves aren't exactly fan-favorite characters.

GTA Online's Los Santos Tuners update went live on July 20, yet players have already come to a general consensus about KDJ and Sessanta. Simply put, this duo isn't very well-liked, evidenced by numerous posts shared on the GTA Online subreddit. Reddit user iPhone_G___ posted a meme about KDJ's and Sessanta's condescending behavior towards the player. RedditNibba22 shared a similarly funny meme that divides GTA Online's Contract characters into groups such as "The Homies" and "Mildly Annoying." Let's just say KDJ and Sessanta sit a bit further down on the list. Meanwhile, IsabelHucker wonders why the likes of Hao and Mimi, associates of Lamar, can't deliver the Lost Santos Tuners contracts, especially since KDJ and Sessanta have phone sex conversations that distract from the release of mission details. TheArbinator made note of the duo's odd behavior, too, expressing their frustration at doing all the hard work while the Contract characters' phone exchanges become exceedingly annoying.

At the time of writing, Rockstar hasn't addressed the ongoing complaints related to KDJ and Sessanta. It's unclear, then, if user feedback will be taken into consideration for possible Los Santos Tuners changes. For now, players interested in the new Contracts should prepare to feel far more than mild annoyance.

Los Santos Tuners marks the first major update that GTA Online has received since Rockstar unleashed the Cayo Perico Heist update in December 2020. It could also act as the final content drop of note before GTA V gets its eagerly-anticipated PS5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrade later this year on November 11.
