Rockstar’s incredibly popular Grand Theft Auto Online lets players experience hundreds of cars, but there’s one clear winner when it comes to GTA Online’s fastest car. Although several cars in the fleet can reach speeds of over 127 mph, the Ocelot Pariah remains the fastest car in GTA Online, with a top recorded speed of 136 mph. The Pariah is inspired by the real-life Ferrari 812 Superfast, which has reached a staggeringly high top speed of 211 mph. The Pariah also draws inspiration from the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, which has a top speed of 190 mph.
Compared to its real-life Ferrari and Aston Martin counterparts, the Pariah pales in comparison with a considerably slower top speed, but it remains GTA Online’s fastest car nonetheless. The Ocelot Pariah can be purchased in from Legendary Motorsport for a price of $1,420,000, and players will need to upgrade the vehicle in GTA Online with performance upgrades to reach the top speed of 136 mph. The Pariah can also be customized at Los Santos Customs and modified in a Vehicle Workshop inside a player’s property.
The confirmed top speed of the Pariah in GTA V is 136.00 mph (218.87 km/h), which has been tested in-game and confirmed by GTA Online player Broughy1322. Driving the car upon its addition to GTA V in 2017, Broughy confirmed the Pariah was the new fastest sports car in the game by a mile, with a lap time of just over 1 minute, dethroning the previous fastest sports car, the Elegy RH8. Since then, the Ocelot Pariah has remained the fastest car in GTA Online and has yet to be surpassed by any other car in the game despite many new additions.
GTA Online's Fastest Car Can't Compete With Gran Turismo 7
Although the highly-anticipated Gran Turismo 7 has yet to be released, after being delayed several times from its initial 2020 release date, it’s confirmed the McLaren F1 GTR will be featured. The F1 GTR’s top speed record of 242 mph well exceeds the fictional Pariah, as well as its fastest real-life counterpart, the Ferrari 812 Superfast. GRID Legends, the latest installment in the GRID racing game franchise launching later this month, will include a wide variety of vehicles and vehicle classes. GRID Legends' full car and truck list won’t be revealed until launch, but DRIFT Legends has confirmed the incredibly streamlined Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro concept will be available to players. The AMR Pro can easily exceed speeds of 205 mph, with a top speed of up to 250 mph.
The Ocelot Pariah has been GTA Online’s fastest car for several years now and has yet to be usurped by a faster car. While the Pariah’s top speed of 136 mph can’t hold a candle to its real-life inspirations, the Ferrari 812 Superfast, and the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, the Pariah continues its reign as the fastest car in GTA Online despite updates adding new cars regularly. Although racing games like Gran Turismo 7 and DRIFT Legends offer faster vehicles than the Ocelot Pariah, the Pariah and other sports cars like it in GTA Online offer players the experience of a racing game within the world of Grand Theft Auto.
