An update to Grand Theft Auto Online has added a valuable panther statue to the Cayo Perico heist. GTA Online was first released as an online multiplayer component of Rockstar Games' 2013 open-world crime adventure Grand Theft Auto V. Since release, GTA Online has managed to take on a life of its own, with updates and events continuing to release regularly in 2021.

Last month, Rockstar Games gave players an incentive to complete the intense Diamond Casino heist for a new reward. The luxurious casino's vault was stocked with a fresh diamond delivery, giving players the opportunity to earn a huge amount of GTA$. While this update did not drastically change the Diamond Casino heist, the novelty of scouting out the location with the chance to receive increased money rewards likely drew some back to the major heist. GTA Online's last major content update, the Cayo Perico heist, launched in December 2020 and included a number of large additions, such as a new island location, weapons, and in-game social spaces. In fact, the update was such a large addition that the Cayo Perico heist affected the game's economy

A blog post from Rockstar Games announceds that a valuable panther statue has been added to GTA Online's Cayo Perico Heist mission. The art collection located within El Rubio's compound will now include this bejeweled cat, which is stated to be heavily guarded. Players who manage to acquire the statue and escape alive will be greatly rewarded. This GTA Online update will also include several other perks, such as bonus rewards for completing Nightclub Management Missions, Client Jobs and Motor Wars.

While GTA Online is nearing eight years since launch, Rockstar's continued support has helped the game maintain a large and loyal playerbase. Weekly updates grant players bonuses for completing certain objectives, ensuring that fans always have something to do when they log in. A recent update, which ended on May 12, gave players a $100,ooo bonus for completing Mobile Operations Missions.

Rockstar's dedication to supporting GTA Online has led to the online title's consistent success. The game is packed with content for players to explore, and additional content is added regularly by the developer. While many fans are clamoring for a new single-player title from the beloved developer, Rockstar seems entirely focused on supporting its online open-world masterpiece.
