The latest news about Grand Theft Auto 6 claims the game will take place in Vice City, and there are several characters from GTA: Vice City that could cameo if that is the case. Although not the most well-known of all the Grand Theft Auto games, Vice City is still a strong entry with several memorable moments. A return to the area in GTA 6 could see a few familiar faces making a return.

Among the cast of characters in Vice City, there are a few options for characters that could potentially return in later games. Of course, some are unavailable due to the fact that they were killed off by Tommy at some point during the story. However, that still leaves a decent amount of the cast available for cameo appearances, or even story relevance. While many fans are busy discerning fake GTA 6 leaks from reliable rumors, there is also time to wonder which members of the past cast could get wrapped up in the story of GTA 6.

Some members of the Vice City cast may be harder to write cameos for than others, but there are plenty of reasons to include several of them in the next game's shenanigans. Whether they have a minor role, a side quest, or a story arc, each of them can offer something to the narrative. Fortunately, a few characters have more than enough potential to make a splash in GTA 6.

Kent Paul Could Provide An Entertaining Storyline In GTA 6

Kent Paul in GTA Vice City

In Vice City, Kent's main job was in the music industry, but he also provided Tommy with several tips regarding big jobs. Although he did have connections to get those scoops, he was never a major player in the criminal underworld. He would later resurface in GTA Trilogy's best game, GTA: San Andreas, where he appears to have stuck with his music job and found a new band to manage, causing him almost as many headaches as Tommy did.

If Kent returns in GTA 6, then the best way to use him would be to focus on his music industry job. He could once again have a new band to manage, and his troubles in maintaining their lifestyle and career could lead him to cross paths with the protagonists. Possibly in disbelief that he is working with criminals again, he could seek the assistance of the protagonist to clean up the messes his new clients leave in their wake. From having to provide extra security to fighting off shady acquaintances and accomplices, the GTA universe's music scene likely has no shortage of jobs for people like the GTA 6 protagonists, similar to GTA Online's Road House-esque Nightclub management.

All of the above would be spiced up with Kent's personality. Being a loudmouth with bad luck, his misadventures that inevitably require the player's assistance have plenty of entertainment potential. A side story featuring Kent would be a worthwhile use of the player's time in Grand Theft Auto 6.

Ken Rosenburg Could Be A Paranoid-Yet-Loyal Ally In GTA 6

Ken Rosenburg is a mob lawyer that aligned with Tommy Vercetti early in Vice City, and remained his loyal ally throughout the game. However, San Andreas revealed that after Ken got out of rehab, Tommy started ignoring him, leaving him without any associates. He started working with CJ late in San Andreas, but GTA 6 could find a way to bring him back home to Vice City.

Upon coming back to Vice City, Ken's overly cautious nature would likely lead him to be very paranoid. After all, as one of the characters still alive after GTA: Vice City, he knows better than anyone how powerful Tommy is and how vindictive he can be. This could easily lead to an alliance with the GTA 6 protagonists, as Ken would be looking for protection. From there, he could likely play a role similar to what he did in Vice City, playing the advisor role and helping to bail them out of jail whenever they get busted. True to form, he would worry about all the ways that the protagonists' plans could go wrong, especially the ways they could backfire on him.

Ken was one of Vice City's funniest characters, and his humorous personality could help to liven up GTA 6. In addition, his presence could help to add a familiar link to the past game, and perhaps act as a way to ease in players who didn't play Vice City. Although several convincing GTA 6 rumors are already floating around, Ken making a comeback is just as credible an idea.

Tommy Vercetti Could Be The Kingpin Of Vice City in GTA 6

GTA Tommy Vercetti

Tommy Vercetti was the player character of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. A soldier for a crime family who had just gotten out of jail, Tommy wastes no time in starting his own criminal empire once he comes to Vice City, eventually defeating the boss who betrayed him so many years ago. By the end of the game, he is unequaled as the most powerful criminal in Vice City.

Despite being a former protagonist, there is little reason to believe that Tommy would be friendly if he is still in power during GTA 6. During Vice City, Tommy repeatedly showed himself to be extremely ruthless when it came to enforcing him power in the city. Outside his interactions with a select few characters, Tommy is absolutely ruthless in expanding and running his empire. With this in mind, Tommy could be GTA 6's villain. The GTA 6 protagonists would likely be objects of his ire, being criminals who don't operate in his organization. With his vast power and willingness to cross any line, Tommy could easily take the role of GTA 6's main antagonist and be frightfully effective in doing so.

Tommy Vercetti, despite player associations with him in the past, could be one of the scariest villains Grand Theft Auto has yet seen. He already committed several cruel actions in his own game, so the depths he would be willing to sink to as an antagonist are perhaps considerable. His combination or power and callousness make Tommy the most chilling choice for a GTA 6 antagonist. GTA 6 promises to be a unique game, and that story could include a former protagonist's villainous turn, even though Tommy was never a good guy in the first place.

It has been a long time since GTA fans have seen Vice City, so a lot of things have probably changed. However, just because times change, that doesn't mean that none of the old Vice City alumni can come back for another game. When Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out, fans should be on the lookout for any figures from the past to make a return.
