A leaker has claimed that the official Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal and a first look at the game's map will be shown as soon as this November. GTA 6 is believed to be in development at Rockstar Games, though the company has yet to announce anything official on the next game in the lucrative series.

Rumors of GTA 6  have been rife for a while, with multiple sources claiming the game is in development despite silence from Rockstar. The Grand Theft Auto series is one of the biggest money-makers in gaming, and it's become a running joke in the gaming community that GTA 6 won't be revealed until people stop purchasing the most recent game in the series, 2013's GTA 5. The release is one of the biggest selling titles of all time, with 150 million copies of GTA 5 sold worldwide as of August this year.

Instagram news page thatssobold has claimed that GTA 6 will formally be announced in just a few months' time (via CharlieIntel). The page shared a screenshot of a ThatsSoBold tweet, reading: "GTA 6 will be announced Nov-Dec & Will Take Place in Miami Featuring Hurricanes, Gators, and MORE!" The post continues to suggest that the game will feature a changing map, reportedly three times the size of Grand Theft Auto 5's large map. While the page hasn't cited a source for the rumors, it seems that the ThatsSoBold Twitter account has recently been suspended, perhaps suggesting action from Rockstar Games regarding the leak, which may lend some credibility to the claims.

The Instagram post's claims regarding an ever-changing GTA 6 map, altered through game updates over time in a way similar to Fortnite, is something that has previously been mentioned by leaker Tom Henderson, as well as journalist Jason Schreier. With multiple sources vouching that this will be Rockstar's approach to GTA 6, it's possible the leak is correct. Claims that the game will be set in Miami have also arisen in the past, though Rockstar Games has yet to comment on any of the alleged GTA 6 leaks so far.

If the rumors are true, fans may not have too long to wait to see what Rockstar Games is planning for the future of the Grand Theft Auto series. With October fast approaching, a November or December reveal isn't too far in the future. It's worth noting that GTA 6 isn't expected to release until 2023 at the very earliest, according to various leaks and rumors. Hopefully, a trailer, map reveal, and potentially a release date will be revealed before the end of 2021.
