Fan-made GTA Infinite artwork explores what Rockstar Games could do with an endless Grand Theft Auto VI concept. GTA 6-related rumors and speculation have regularly circulated for the last few years, despite Rockstar's silence about its future plans. One recent bit of speculation, for example, spawned from Take-Two Interactive's financials, wherein the publisher estimated an annual growth rate of 14 percent through 2024. Analysts posit that such growth means a major release will hit the market by March 2024. What's more significant to Take-Two Interactive's books than a new Grand Theft Auto title?

Other rumors claim the sixth mainline Grand Theft Auto entry isn't in good shape in terms of development. Allegedly, the project was thrown into disarray following the departure of Rockstar Co-founder Dan Houser, leading to a project reset of some sort. Reports of this nature remain unsubstantiated, which, combined with scant details, leaves fans curious. As a result, some have begun conceptualizing what a GTA 6 may actually entail. It shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that one concept, in particular, takes infinite possibilities into consideration.

On the GTA 6 subreddit, a user named AEWfan316 shared a logo and cover concept art for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto installment. The artwork explores GTA Infinite as a conceptual possibility, complete with the mathematical infinity symbol beneath GTA's iconic logo. This seems to play into the thought that the sixth mainline title will bear more in common with the ever-popular GTA Online, potentially acting as a live service of sorts that Rockstar Games can regularly update with fresh story and multiplayer content.

As mentioned above, the continued success of the franchise's online suite indicates a GTA Infinite-esque GTA 6 isn't too far beyond the realm of possibility. This especially holds true when considering The Contract update - content launched exclusively in GTA Online, despite featuring story beats related to the base game's overarching narrative and characters.

Grand Theft Auto V hit store shelves for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles in September 2013, nearly nine years ago. Since then, the title's migrated to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions scheduled to release sometime this spring. A new rumor claims GTA 5's PS5 and Xbox Series upgrades may receive a two-month delay, however, pushing the ports out of their previously planned March 2022 launch window.
