During their adventures in Grand Theft Auto 5, players will probably need to find and use the Impound Lot. When players get busted by cops while their vehicle is somewhere nearby, the police will impound their vehicle. In order to retrieve a vehicle from the Impound Lot in GTA 5, players must complete one of a few procedures. Players can simply pay the police at the Impound Lot, or they can steal the car back.
For various reasons, Grand Theft Auto 5 players will often find themselves wanted by the LSPD. Even during story missions, players can get busted and have their car impounded. Players who get trapped by the LSPD while in their car will get pulled out and arrested by the police. Additionally, players who get busted with their car nearby, whether it's a secret car in GTA V or not, will also have their vehicle taken to the Impound Lot.
Once a player's car is in the Impound Lot, they have a few options for retrieving it. First, players must find the Impound Lot in the first place. When players get busted, they are released at the nearest police station. Players must then navigate to the Impound Lot to reclaim their vehicle. If they wait too long to retrieve their vehicle from the Impound Lot, their vehicle will be crushed by the LSPD. When a car is destroyed, it is lost unless the player has insurance. If they have insurance, players can reclaim their crushed vehicle and return it to their garage in GTA V by calling the insurance company.
Finding & Using The Impound Lot Properly In Grand Theft Auto 5
Finding the Impound Lot is not the most difficult task with the right information. If players had their personal vehicle impounded, they can find the Impound Lot using the personal vehicle icon on the map. However, if players got another vehicle impounded, they must find the Impound Lot the old-fashioned way. The Impound Lot is located at the corner of Roy Lowenstein Boulevard and Innocence Boulevard in south Los Santos. The lot is conveniently situated beside the Davis Police Station.
Once players find the Impound Lot in GTA 5, they must use it properly to reclaim their vehicle. The simplest method is spending $250 at the Impound Lot in exchange for the impounded vehicle. If players have enough cash at this point, paying the Impound Lot is not a big waste of money in GTA V. Players also have the option of stealing their car back from the Impound Lot. However, when players jump the lot fence and enter their car, they immediately accrue a two-star wanted level. If players manage to outrun the LSPD and lose their wanted level, they get to keep the car they stole back from the Impound Lot.
