While exploring their backyards in Grounded, players can find several Juice Box landmarks scattered through the undergrowth which dispense juice drops that can quench thirst and sate hunger. While out exploring their backyards from a new and highly strange perspective, players may find themselves far away from their home bases without the vital resources they need to survive. In a pinch, players can seek out juice boxes and consume their juice drops in order to give themselves a little boost, and to keep themselves from collapsing from thirst and hunger. On top of that, finding all five juice boxes in the backyard rewards players with one of Grounded’s most useful Mutation perks, granting them a survival buff to aid exploration.
In Grounded, players have been shrunk down to the size of an ant and are forced to find a way to survive in their backyards. At this size, the backyard is a vast landscape with many biomes to explore and dangers to confront, including hostile insects and dangerous terrain. Players can build home bases to fend off the wilderness, work to secure sources of food and water and gradually work out a way to return to their normal sizes. Grounded itself has been out for some time in early access but recently had an official launch following a series of final updates, with players now able to explore, build and fight together with their friends.
Whether it’s building bases, exploring or catching and killing Grounded’s gnats for resources, players will need to keep an eye on their thirst and hunger meters to ensure that they don’t collapse and lose the potentially valuable contents of their inventories.
All Juice Box Locations In Grounded
Juice Boxes can be useful for food and hydration, so players should locate them to add their locations to their maps. In a tight spot, players can then seek out the nearest box to get a juice drop. However, players thinking long-term may want to prep an expedition to find all five boxes in order to get the Juicy Mutation, which reduces the rate at which their thirst decreases. In fact, one good strategy involves players building their Grounded bases around Juice Boxes to ensure easy access to thirst-quenching juice. Three boxes are located in the lawn area, while two boxes lie further afield:

In the weedkiller Haze, near the base of the weedkiller spray bottle. Players will need a Gas Mask as protection from the Haze to reach it. |
Players should note the first three juice boxes listed are easy enough to reach, but the other two are located in some of Grounded’s most dangerous biomes that can be challenging to explore for inexperienced players without the right gear. Reaching the hedge itself requires a lengthy trek through the dangerous Eastern Flooded Zone that borders the hedge. Exploring the Haze requires that players either get protection from a gas mask or work to remove the Haze entirely. For either, Grounded players should stock up and be well-prepared before heading out.
