Twitch Grefg Fortnite Skin Reveal Record Breaking Stream

Grefg's viewership isn't the only thing impressive about today's stream as his official skin garnered a lot of love from the Fortnite community. While the Lachlan, LoserFruit, and Ninja skins closely resembled the creator, Grefg's skin has more of a fantasy design. He was also able to showcase the reactive capabilities of the skin as well as its pickaxe and emote. Humorously, Grefg explained on stream how his original emote pitch was declined by Epic Games for being too graphic for younger players.

Whether players love or hate Fortnite, it's impossible not to be impressed by Grefg's staggering viewership. Many viewers who tuned in today may not have known who Grefg was before today, but gamers rallied together to set the bar for viewer records much higher than it's ever been before. It may be a long time before Twitch sees the same numbers it did today, and it's hard to fathom what event could take place that would draw the same number of viewers. Regardless, those who attended today's stream witnessed internet history as one man captured the attention of 2.4 million individuals.
