Fans of DC Comics didn't know what to expect when Stan Lee's Just Imagine was announced, a special line of comics giving the Marvel legend the chance to put his spin on the Justice League heroes. But even fewer expected Stan Lee's Green Lantern to return in Hal Jordan's latest adventure!

While several heroes received a re-imagining courtesy of Stan Lee, it was Green Lantern that asked fans: what if Indiana Jones became a mystical Swamp Thing? The answer is the archaeologist Len Lewis, who ends up shot and left for dead near the roots of the immortal World Tree. With mankind destroying the planet and their future along with it, the ancient being transfers its emerald energy into Len's body to act as its new champion. And believe it or not true believers, Stan Lee's creation just showed up to pull Hal Jordan out of the fire.

The hero makes his return in The Green Lantern #10, and he's not alone. With Hal Jordan's latest threat expanding beyond his own universe, he is greeted by an assortment of parallel reality Green Lanterns of Earth. There's the Batman who became Green Lantern, the groovy '60s version, Len Lewis, and many more. They each patrol their assigned sector in their home universes, but in times of great peril they gather to form the Guardians of the Multiverse.

Stan Lee Green Lantern in DC Comics

Writer Grant Morrison had previously recognized the Just Imagine Stan Lee's Green Lantern in his Multiversity guidebooks, confirming he still officially resides in Earth-6 along with the rest of Lee's variations of the Justice League. And just in case artist Liam Sharp's rendition of Len Lewis--a man glowing green with a Lantern symbol blazing in his chest--wasn't enough to jog readers' memory, Len makes a point of confirming that the Tree of Life which provides his power has also sensed the growing threats to the Multiverse.

That threat returns in a big way in the final pages of The Green Lantern #11, giving readers who may have slept on this series yet one more reason to jump back in with this two-part adventure beginning with The Green Lantern #10. Fans can check out the full credits and plot details below:
