The producers and creators of Bob's Burgers are making another family-focused animated comedy called The Great North and they just released the trailer. Bob's Burgers spent the past 11 seasons exploring the family dynamic of the Belchers, who run a burger restaurant in a coastal town. The show is distinct for its constant puns, occasional music numbers, and iconic holiday episodes.

The creators of the highly successful adult cartoon are now working on another Fox show called The Great North. According to EW, the show follows Beef Tobin (Nick Offerman) who is a single dad raising his four kids: three sons named Wolf (Will Forte), Ham (Paul Rust), and Moon (Aparna Nancherla) and a daughter named Judy (Jenny Slate). Alanis Morissette will also star in the show as Judy's imaginary friend. The families shenanigans take place in a town in Alaska and fans can expect to see scenes featuring the Northern Lights. It seems that The Great North will resemble Bob's Burgers in other ways besides animation style. Both shows have gender-neutral casting, including the voices of Linda and Tina Belcher (John Roberts and Dan Mintz, respectively) and the voice of Moon Tobin (Nancherla). The shows also share a number of voice actors, which begs the question of whether or not The Great North will also feature a Rolodex of iconic celebrity guest-stars just as Bob's Burgers has over the past 11 seasons. Fans will have to wait until February of 2021 to find out. The Great North will premiere on Fox in February 2021.
