Season 10 of The Great British Baking Show, like any of its countlessly binged seasons, is chock-full of talented and creative winners. Given the high-stress environment that’s nearly impossible to fully stay calm and concentrate in, it’s a wonder how any of them succeed at all. However, fans may have already picked up on season 10’s final star baker.

This season was certainly different than other seasons. The Great British Baking Show’s latest season is the first to show weekly on Netflix, a day after it premieres on Channel 4. More fans than ever before are able to tune in and together predict who they think the winner will be. There are also 13 bakers in the mix instead of the usual 12, loosening the competition only slightly, but possibly guaranteeing a double elimination. The question is, though: who will be season 10’s winner?

Right from the start, 28-year-old London-based geography teacher Alice Fevronia showed a lot of promise. It became apparent when she won star baker during the second week. While not doing so bad for the rest of the competition, that was her only time winning star baker. Still, she remains a top contender for taking home the winning title. Fans have also been looking at 36-year-old David Atherton. While he hasn’t earned a star baker title yet, he has received something a little more rare and valuable: a handshake from Paul Hollywood. In the most recent episode, Rosie Brandreth-Poynter landed in second place and has hovered around the second place for some time. She did receive a “sad” review of her fruit and children’s cake.

Steph Blackwell on The Great British Baking Show

Steph Blackwell, the 28-year-old shop assistant, has been killing it this season. So far, she’s been the star baker four different times and shows no signs of slowing down. It’s safe to say that she is the strongest contender for taking home the title of bake-off champion. With only a few more episodes left in season 10, fans just may see her get crowned star baker yet again. If things continue the way they are now, it looks like we have our winner.

Steph is very good at making biscuits and she prides herself on her signature sourdough loaf. Steph's a self-taught baker, but her grandfather is the one who brought the love of baking into her life. She gets her love of baking homemade bread from him. She says she's very into sports and wellness, which is why she dedicates herself to baking healthier alternatives to her favorite pastries. Steph notably adds vegetables to her baked goods for a more healthy flavor. This level of passion and craftiness is what makes her stand out amongst the rest, giving her the leading shot at victory.

The Great British Baking Show airs weekly on Channel 4 and Netflix.
