Season 10 of The Great British Baking Show is inching its way towards a conclusion. As of the pastry week episode that aired on Netflix, only four contestants remain - Alice, David, Steph, and Rosie.

While all the bakers this season have talent, these four definitely represent the most formidable opponents who should be proud of their earned spot in the semi-finals. However, many of the weaker bakers, even those eliminated early in the season, still hold a special place in our hearts. They may not earn the title of bake-off champion, but we'll always remember these quirky personalities. If you're struggling to remember all their faces, we've got you covered. Here are Season 10's weakest contestants, ranked.

7. Dan

Great British Baking Show Dan

Unfortunately, Dan sits at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of The Great British Baking Show contestants. Truthfully, he appeared to be friendly and personable during his single week on the show. As a 32-year-old support worker, Dan talked of his journey as a self-taught baker, which started as a gambit to impress a previous girlfriend. Unfortunately, we didn't get enough time with this contestant to truly fall in love with him. He was eliminated week one, leaving little time learn enough about him to really cement him in our memory.

6. Jamie

Great British Baking Show Jamie and hosts and judges

At only 20 years old, Jamie was Season 10's youngest baker. While the show's youngest contestant often lasts for a few weeks, Jamie was a different story. He was eliminated in week two after his showstopper was described as a little too simple. Although Jamie was always laughing on the show, he often portrayed a sense of hopelessness regarding the challenges. He joked about losing before he even began, which made it difficult to truly root for him. Despite his obvious commitment to the show, his constant jokes implied that he wasn't taking it seriously. Pair his lighthearted approach with his struggle to produce a quality bake, and you'll find that his week two elimination wasn't much of a surprise.

5. Amelia

Great British Baking Show Amelia

Amelia was such a fun presence on the show. The sportswear designer took special pride in her intricate decorations, though they ultimately weren't enough to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. Despite being sent home in week three after many disappointing bakes, Amelia maintained a positive attitude throughout her whole time on the show. She was never overwhelmed by the tasks in front of her, and took each piece of criticism with grace. We enjoyed her presence, but our attachment to her wasn't as deep as some of the other contestants.

4. Michelle

Great British Baking Show Michelle

Michelle was a perfectly nice addition to the season. The 35-year-old mom from Wales first embraced baking as a child while watching her mum. Despite winning Star Baker in week 1, Michelle experienced a steady decline throughout the rest of her time on the show. She was eliminated in week five along with Helena. Michelle was supportive of her fellow bakers and witty enough, but with time both her easygoing personality and her interesting creations faded into the background.

3. Phil

Great British Baking Show Phil

Phil was a positive force of nature on Season 10. The 56-year-old first developed his love for baking only six years ago, a short time compared to many on the show. The HGV driver took a methodical approach to many of his bakes, often forming creations that were both beautiful and unique. Despite his best efforts, Phil was eliminated during week four, much to the surprise of the audience. He especially caught the attention of viewers due to his genuine love for baking that shone through each creation. While all contestants are talented bakers, Phil's late-in-life commitment to the craft somehow felt more sincere than other contestants on the season.

2. Priya

Priya was a Season 10 standout from the very beginning due to her interesting flavor combinations. The 34-year-old marketing consultant first started baking in an after-school club and honed her craft through the years. Priya loved tropical flavors and would incorporate them into her bakes wherever she could. Although her creations didn't always go to plan, no one could question her creativity. Instead of settling for average bakes, she strove to make something new and exciting, week after week. We were devastated by her week seven elimination, although Priya herself saw it coming.

1. Helena

Great British Baking Show Helena

From the very first week, Helena caught the eye of all viewers. With her spooky bakes and outspoken love for Halloween, she was never going to fly under the radar. She embraced her Gothic vibe wholeheartedly, turning every bake into an opportunity to flaunt her creepy side. Although her bakes often missed the mark in terms of flavor, her eye-catching designs helped her stay through week five. Helena was easy to love. Even though her creations were sinister, Helena herself was effortlessly good-natured. She defended her bakes without getting angry and always found a way to make every challenge her own. For that, she earns the top spot in our ranking.
