The Grand Tour hosts - former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May - recently reunited to begin filming Season 4. The threesome shared some photos they took together on their first day back on the job.

Premiering in 2017 on Amazon Prime, the gearhead-focused show was created by the former Top Gear hosts, in addition to Top Gear producer Andy Wilam. It's a travel show that combines a mix of motoring challenges and car reviews. And while it originally had a three-season order, with the latest season premiering in January 2019, filming for Season 4 is now well underway and the hosts are already back in the swing of things.

Clarkson confirmed filming has begun on Season 4 by way of a series of photos of the threesome in Cambodia on his personal Instagram page (via: Digital Spy). In the picture posted from Clarkson's account seen below, the group is walking across the street, a lá The Beatles, under a sign that reads "Pub Street" a food and entertainment district in Siem Reap. Clarkson joked in another photo: "You've seen the tribute band. Now it's time for the real thing." In another photo the group posted, the hosts ditched their signature rides for bicycles - and that might not be the only differences fans can expect with this upcoming season.

Big changes are underway on the show, including the series getting rid of their "audience tent," where they usually host live motor challenges. They'll instead hold a series of standalone "road trip" specials. Top Gear viewers will be familiar with this format, as the series often preferred onsite car challenges to studio shoots. With the hosts' natural rapport, too, a road trip setting could be a fun way for the fans to watch them interact.

The Grand Tour viewers will be happy to see the gang back together since there have been reports they could be breaking off to pursue their own Amazon Prime projects. But according to the network, they'll still remain a team and the show could extend longer than expected given this new format. Amazon Prime Video's Jay Marine told Digital Spy, "We’re proud to say that Prime Video will continue to be the home for Jeremy, Richard, and James,” adding that the trio will be working with the production company for "years to come." Season 4 of The Grand Tour was set to be available on Amazon Prime this November, but it seems it got pushed back and can be expected in January 2020.
