In GTA Online, holidays usually mean new rewards for players, and the July 4th Independence Day celebration in America is no exception. Starting on July 2, 2020, and continuing through July 8, players will be able to enjoy discounts alongside some "rare patriotic gems" like a new t-shirt featuring the Statue of Happiness, the franchise's Statue of Liberty stand-in featured in Grand Theft Auto IV.
Grand Theft Auto Online players have been enjoying a tons of giveaways lately, most notably in the form of free GTA Online money which they only had to sign-in to acquire. PlayStation Plus Grand Theft Auto Online fans are also reciveing additional money for playing the game between now and August 5th, and to help celebrate the upcoming re-release of Grand Theft Auto 5 on the PS5 Rockstar Games is also giving PlayStation players an additional $1,000,000 in GTA money every month leading up to the next-gen version's release.
Thankfully, players won't have to wait that long to take advantage of GTA Online's Independence Day deals, which are currently live now and will be available for the next week. According to the Rockstar Newswire, all of the normal Double RP and Double GTA$ rewards are returning (at least in GTA Online's Missile Base series) but there are also some interesting bonuses and discounts for GTA Online players looking to celebrate the holiday in style.
GTA Online's Independence Day Discounts
To help celebrate GTA Online's Independence Day event, all Yachts and Arcade Properties are currently discounted to 50% off. Mammoth Avengers and their customization options are 60% off, and all Bunkers, Hangars, and Facilities are discounted 70%. Additionally, there are a number of GTA Online vehicles which are also on sale for 50% off. They include:

From now until July 8, players can take a free spin at The Lucky Wheel inside the casino to try and win the Western Sovereign motorcycle, a chopper with an all-American red, white, and blue paint job which looks eerily reminiscent of the Angel in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. As Grand Theft Auto Online begins to move into the next-generation of gaming, it remains to be seen how many players will stick with the near-seven years old title. While GTA Online still maintains a massive playerbase, one which was recently made even bigger thanks to its inclusion as a free giveaway in the Epic Games Store, it's impossible to say how long Rockstar will be able to entertain their fans with GTA Online. However, constant updates and events like the Independence Day celebrations go a long way towards keeping players engaged and invested, and until any news of Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives, most players likely aren't going anywhere.
