Grammarly has unveiled GrammarlyGo, a AI-powered software that generates and rewrites content, both for businesses and individuals. Grammarly is one of the world's largest online writing assistants, and has traditionally helped users create grammatically-correct content. While the company has equipped its products with AI strategies like machine learning and natural language processing, things are about to get better.

GrammarlyGo is an all-new product powered by generative AI that aims to be an effective communication aid. Regardless of whether the user is yet to start writing or needs help with reworking existing content, GrammarlyGo can make its presence felt by delivering “contextually aware suggestions that account for personal voice and brand style.” Grammarly says its latest service can save users time and optimize their productivity.

GrammarlyGo helps users to create text catered to their needs. There are four main use cases of the software – rewriting, composing text from a prompt, ideating a workflow using a prompt, and automatically drafting replies to emails. When it comes to rewriting existing text, GrammarlyGo can revise content for clarity, length, and tone. For users who are struggling with getting started with writing, the software can help there too, creating "high-quality writing" from a prompt.

When it comes to creating an outline, GrammaryGo can respond to a prompt like "Give me an outline for a project brief" by automatically generating a detailed plan which users can build on. Once GrammarlyGo outputs a result, users can ask the AI to further refine it by improving, shortening, or simplifying. GrammarlyGo also enables users to choose up to two specific tones to draft text, with options like optimistic, confident, direct, friendly, personable, and empathetic. They can also select a formality level, such as casual, neutral, or formal. Finally, users can select a profession from a dropdown list to personalize the content even further.

A beta version of GrammarlyGo will be released in April to all Premium, Business, and Education subscribers. Users with a free Grammarly account in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Japan, Poland, Germany, and Ukraine will gain access at launch, with more countries to be added at a later time. GrammarlyGo will accessible through Grammarly for Windows, Mac, Chrome, and the Grammarly editor. Additionally, GrammarlyGo will also be optimized for apps like Gmail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, LinkedIn, and Medium.
