Grace & Frankie released on Netflix back in 2015 and immediately became a hit with a star-studded cast (Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston) and epics storyline. After over 20 years of marriage, Grace and Frankie's husbands leave them both to start a relationship with each other. What followed was our two leading ladies trying to figure out their new normal. Along the way, Grace and Frankie became best friends and defied the odds that were stacked against them.

But as accepting and open as Frankie has been since the start, Grace is more straight-to-the-point and harsh, creating some horrible moments on her behalf. Before season seven comes out next year, let's take a look at some of the worst things Grace has done.

WHEN SHE SPOKE POORLY ABOUT FRANKIE AT THE FUNERAL

The first season was a tough one for Grace and Frankie. They may be best friends in season six but we saw a different side to them in season one.

After the death of a mutual friend, Grace and Frankie make their first appearance at the funeral after their divorce. Tensions were high and Grace tried her best to ditch her "annoying" parrot, Frankie. Frankie saw Grace hiding from her through the window and then heard her say "All I get is stuck with Frankie." Hearing this was hard for Frankie and she quickly left the funeral with her feelings hurt.

WHEN SHE BELITTLED BRIANNA AND MALLORY AT A BUSINESS MEETING

With Say Grace in trouble in the fifth season, Brianna pulls up the courage to ask her mom for business help. Grace, of course, is excited to go back to work to show Brianna how it's done. However, along the way, Grace falls apart and takes pills to energize her.

Her newfound energy made her talk over her daughters in an interview and take the credit for Say Grace's success by throwing her daughters' under the bus. Brianna and Mallory were both humiliated and pondered quitting.

WHEN SHE TOLD ROBERT SHE WISHED HE DIED

The first episode of Grace & Frankie was a real doozy. Viewers learn a lot in a short amount of time and are thrown through a loop with the new dynamic.

After dinner, both couples go home to cool off and talk about the elephant in the room. When Robert asks Grace if she was "ever really happy" with him, she said she was "happy enough." But as Robert is turning away to sulk, she says "It would have been easier if you died." Even though Robert was leaving Grace, that was hard for him to hear.

WHEN SHE LIED ABOUT HAVING A GUN IN THE HOUSE

In the third season, Grace and Frankie are getting along great and have found their rhythm but after their beach house is robbed, things take a turn for the worse. Both women are face-to-face with the reality that they are two elderly women living alone and they're a major target for burglaries.

To protect themselves, Grace keeps her gun nearby, which is a shock to Frankie and devastates her. Frankie is extremely against guns and didn't want to live in a home where a gun existed. Things only got worse when Grace thought Frankie's dummy was a person and shot it right through the head...

WHEN SHE CALLS FRANKIE'S IDEAS DUMB (BUT THEY'RE GOLD)

Let's face it, Frankie is cooky but her ideas typically have a beneficial result. From Vybrant to bedazzled canes to lube to the Rise Up — all those ideas came from Frankie's mind. All Grace did was turn those ideas into logical business ventures.

Sadly, it takes grace far too long to realize Grace's ideas are amazing and writes them off as dumb. To make things even more emotional, Frankie thinks of these inventions to help her BFF Grace in her time of need, only to have them degraded until Grace is in a better mood.

JUDGING MALLORY FOR HAVING MORE KIDS

We don't see too much of Mallory and Mitch's kids in later seasons but in season two, Grace decides to make more of an effort with her grandchildren, especially when Mallory becomes pregnant with twins and is on bed rest. But as viewers can imagine, Grace is not good with kids and is totally awkward around her own grandchildren.

When she goes up to talk to Mallory about not feeling included in her family's life, Mallory explains it's because Grace once judged her for having a second baby and told her she needed to start her life again. Due to those cold words, Mallory drifted from her mother.

SHE (UNINTENTIONALLY) STOLE ANOTHER BRAND'S SIGNATURE SCENT

In the sixth season, Grace and her daughters are getting a massage when they realize the lotion the masseuse is using has the same scent as Say Grace's signature scent. The three are getting ready to launch a lawsuit against the company when Grace realizes they never stole it from Say Grace, it was she who stole it from them.

After one too many cocktails, Grace passed out drunk on their table and apparently remembered the scent well enough to create it on her own. To make matters worse, before Grace made this realization, she called the competing company and already told them about the lawsuit...

NOT HELPING FRANKIE WITH BUD'S WEDDING

Having two sons, Frankie was ecstatic when Bud found Allison and proposed. Planning a wedding and becoming a grandmother are two things that light Frankie up. Unfortunately, Grace and Frankie were feuding on the day of the wedding—due to a poor business decision—which led Grace to not doing what Frankie asked her to do at Bud's wedding.

She didn't "chum the ocean," she never brought a wheelchair ramp for the house, and she brought a "normal" cake for the wedding instead of supporting Frankie's "cakeata."

HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH PHIL

In the second season, we learn about the man-who-got-away from Grace. His name was Phil and he was Grace and Robert's contractor when the two were married. She told Frankie there was always a deep connection between the two and they almost acted on it but they decided to stay faithful to their marriages.

Well, fast forward a couple of years and Grace finds Phil once again. However, Phil is still married to his wife. The sad reality is that Phil's wife has advanced Alzheimer's and she doesn't even remember who Phil is most of the time. This leads to him wanting to find affection elsewhere with Grace. The two tried to make it work but the situation became all too real for Grace when she ran into Phil's wife herself.

TURNING DOWN THEIR ONE AND ONLY SHARK TANK OFFER

In the sixth season, Grace and Frankie are lucky enough to be shown on the show Shark Tank to introduce Rise Up to the world. The only problem is, Nick told Grace not to take Mark Cuban's offer if it's on the table. To look like a "good wife," Grace obliged which ended up really hurting her relationship with Frankie and as one can imagine, the Rise Up.
