With Thor: Love And Thunder introducing Gorr the God Butcher—who is conspicuously missing from the trailer—audiences can't help but wonder just which gods Gorr will go after. Granted, there are a great variety of pantheons within the MCU who exist from the Greeks to the Egyptians, but it can go even wider with that.

Many gods in and outside the MCU could put up a fight and have a massive battle with the man with the symbiotic sword. While some of these gods are already in the MCU, others only exist in comics but would either be interesting to see on Gorr's kill list or to make an appearance within the fourth Thor movie.

Loki

Loki Variants led by President Loki

From the main Avengers villain to starring in his TV series on Disney+, Loki is a proven mainstay. Thor's evil brother has taken a turn as of late by giving quotes that prove he's a hero.

Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of the self-proclaimed rightful king of Asgard delivers a performance where fans are always satisfied to see his return. He may not be the greatest at hand-to-hand combat but seeing how he would manipulate and play with Gorr's mind could make for an intense fight. Loki was already defeated by a villain in Thanos and if allowed to beat Gorr then he would have an opportunity to redeem himself.

Apocalypse

A portrait of Apocalypse from Marvel Comics

Apocalypse isn't just the first mutant born but is a self-proclaimed God of Mutants. He earns the nickname as he has no limits on powers which makes him a threat to all of the X-Men.

Being a challenge for the X-Men alone, fighting against a God Butcher that is only fueled by rage would make this an intense fight that would be visually pleasing to watch. Marvel Studios can bring this character within the universe and give him more powers to challenge Gorr than what was seen in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Hela

Hela

The Goddess of Death left a mark in Thor: Ragnarök giving multiple reasons why Hela should return to the MCU. The audience missed her fight with Surtur at the end of the movie with there being no winner left to be determined but only the end of Asgard.

TV and film rules state if there is nobody then there is no proof of death, and seeing that she is the Goddess of Death, it is difficult to think that she would be gone. Thor's sister left countless bodies in her live-action debut giving evidence to Gorr's idea that Gods are selfish and evil. Reappearing to battle Gorr doesn't just confirm if she is alive and how powerful she is, but if a God Butcher is enough to end a Goddess of Death.

Knull

Knull sits on a throne and smiles in Marvel Comics.

The one above Venom, Knull is the God of Symbiotes and creator of the All-Black Necrosword. Knull is powerful as he was able to use the Necrosword to eliminate a planet-destroying being within a celestial with one hit.

Knull has a lot of similarities compared to Gorr the God Butcher. He was the creator of the black symbiote sword used by Gorr that he designed to defeat an army of Gods. Despite their similarities, Gorr sees no difference as all Gods are a target in his mind. To see him go against the one that gave him power would have many fans on the edge of their seats.

Amatsu-Mikaboshi

A Thor villain, Amatsu-Mikaboshi isn't a Greek God like so many other villains he faces but a Japanese God of evil. The Chaos King's goal isn't to cause chaos but to bring life back to before the universe was created where he can once again rule over the void.

In the comics, he has had his issues with major characters revealed in the Thor: Love And Thunder trailer, the Gods of Olympus. The possibility of him appearing in the movie may be slim, but if this was to happen, it could lead to a battle between him and Gorr. This would have fans cheering for Gorr as he takes his anger of losing his family out on a God that celebrates evil.

Bast

Bast Marvel Comics

Bast is the Goddess worshipped in Wakanda as the protector of the panther clan. The God of Panthers is worshiped by Black Panther and his royal family as Bast gives the land the flowers needed to give T'challa his panther abilities.

Anytime Wakanda or a representative of Wakanda is on the screen it is guaranteed to be a good time. Bast is often seen being represented through the Black Panther but an appearance on her own would make Wakanda feel all the more special as it will allow the audience to learn more about the God of Panthers. This would be a fight that would leave the audience questioning the fate of Wakanda.

Living Tribunal

The humanoid cosmic entity with the role to safeguard the multiverse to prevent one universe from being stronger than another is considered a God with all that he is capable of doing. He has three faces representing equality, necessity, and vengeance coming together to form judgment to balance out the universe.

Living Tribunal only appears in very dire situations that cause unbalance to the universe. The death of multiple Gods would seem like a situation that would summon a being that can cause the sun to go supernova. If Gorr can handle Gods like Zeus and Thor, then fans would want to see how he will fare against a being with the entire multiverse in his hands.

Khonshu

Khnonshu in Moon Knight

Only comic fans know that Khonshu is a God that wouldn't back down from a fight. The bird skull Egyptian moon God is a God of vengeance. Unable to do the work himself, Khonshu enlists the help of Moon Knight to carry out his will as the fist of vengeance.

If Khonshu is as vicious as Moon Knight is, then he could have what it takes to take down Gorr the God Butcher. If this fight were to happen within the MCU then it may need to be an R-rated movie with the amount of violence that these two are capable of. Khonshu has a kill to survive mindset in the Disney+ Moon Knight series and it would be great to see that with him fighting for himself.

Ares

The Avenger Ares from Marvel Comics!

As DC comics are the ones that made Aries a recognizable name within their franchise, Marvel has their version of the Greek God. Ares is one of the most powerful Olympian Gods in Marvel comics as he still lives up to the moniker of God of War.

Gorr has his war against that makes Ares a part of that war. Ares is made for combat, making it a challenge for Gorr to take down Ares within his own game. A challenge that would be as vicious as it would be entertaining.

God Emperor Doom

God Emperor Doom kills Thanos in Secret Wars (2015) #8.

In 2015, Marvel released a miniseries of a new version of the 1984 Secret Wars event which saw Dr. Doom taking the powers of the Beyonder and becoming Emperor God Doom. He becomes ruler of his world, defeating the Fantastic Four by turning the Human Torch into the sun and invisible women into his wife.

Fans of Marvel already want to see Doom join the MCU but what would make it better is seeing him at his most powerful. With how powerful Emperor Doom is, it may not be a fair fight as he can defeat Thanos by ripping out his spine. It has yet to be determined how powerful Gorr is within the MCU but if he is powerful enough to defeat Gods then he may have a chance of beating one.
