With Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween coming to home video soon, we're sharing an exclusive clip from the movie's gag reel! Directed by Ari Sandel, Goosebumps 2 introduces a new trio of kids to deal with the forces of darkness on Halloween, when Slappy returns to wreak havoc once again by bringing Halloween costumes to life.

Starring Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Jeremy Ray Taylor (IT) and Caleel Harris (Castle Rock) - along with Ken Jeong (Community) as their holidays-obsessed neighbor. Friends Sonny (Taylor) and Sam (Harris) discover a secret locked Goosebumps manuscript in an old abandoned mansion, which unleashes the mischievous living dummy, Slappy. At first Sonny and Sam are excited about their new "friend," but it isn't long before Slappy reveals his true nature and - together with Sonny's older sister, Sarah (Iseman) - they have to race to stop Slappy from making it Halloween permanently.

Whether you caught the movie in theaters or you're planning to check it out upon its home video release, here's an excerpt from Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween's gag reel, featuring funny moments from the movie's human cast... and quite a few outtakes of Slappy goofing around as well.

In addition to the gag reel, the Digital, DVD and Blu-ray releases of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween also include three deleted scenes, five featurettes, and three "Slappy-Oke" sing-alongs.

Haunted Halloween is the sequel to 2015's Goosebumps, and also sees the return of Jack Black as the curmudgeonly fictional version of R.L. Stine (the real Stine is a lot nicer). Without giving anything away, it also leaves a clear opening for a sequel - and there are certainly no shortage of Goosebumps books upon which to base another movie - from Say Cheese and Die! to Stay Out of the Basement. While the horror genre is currently experiencing something of a golden age, there unfortunately aren't too many horror movies that are kid-friendly, so hopefully the Goosebumps franchise will keep going.

In the meantime, next Halloween will bring a feature film based on the classic spooky tales TV show Are You Afraid of the Dark, with D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) currently in talks to direct. With Stranger Things gearing up for a third season and IT: Chapter Two also arriving next year, it certainly is a scary time to be a plucky, adventurous kid in a fictional setting. Remember, if you see any cans labelled "Monster Blood," just ignore them and start walking away quickly.
