The Google Stadia Founder's Edition has sold out in every single country it was available in. Billed as a cloud-based game streaming platform, Google Stadia is scheduled to soft-launch on November 19th, 2019, with a large list of accompanying launch titles which include Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Final Fantasy XV, and the microtransaction-filled Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, among many others.
Google has made some interesting claims about Stadia, from saying the console will utilize artificial intelligence to decrease lag and input latency to predicting their version of mutiplayer will be much better than consoles. Stadia offers different tiers of its service to players, with the more expensive one (Stadia Pro) allowing for larger game resolutions. Leading up to next month's release, Google has been selling multiple pre-order collections in various countries around the world.
As reported by 9to5Google, the Founder's Edition pre-order version of Google Stadia has sold out in all fourteen countries it was available in. Bundled with an exclusive blue controller and Chromecast Ultra, the Founder's Edition also included a three month subscription to Stadia Pro, a Buddy Pass code, and an exclusive badge on the player's in-game avatar, as well as the ability to select a user name without a bunch of random numbers on the end. Unfortunately, that deal is now over.
That's a wrap! Stadia Founder’s Edition has completely sold out. We can’t wait to welcome all of our Founders to play Stadia on November 19.— Stadia (@GoogleStadia) October 22, 2019

However, in its place Google is offering what they call the Premiere Edition. Although it doesn't include the cleaner user name, Buddy Pass, or blue controller, players who purchase the Premiere Edition will still get Chromecast Ultra and three months of Stadia Pro, along with a normal "Clearly White" Stadia controller. Currently, the Premiere Edition is available to pre-order in all the same countries as the Founder's Edition and costs $129.
Originally thought to be something of Netflix for games service, Stadia previously disappointed some potential players when Google announced they would still have to pay full price for the games available on the streaming platform. While some reports suggest most gamers will struggle to run Stadia due to the high bandwidth and data transfer speeds required, players who still want to get in on the ground floor of Google Stadia have only a few more weeks before the service launches. Such players should be warned, though, because even people who already pre-ordered the Founder's Edition might be a little disappointed, as recent reports discovered some of those purchases may not make to players in time for the Stadia's official launch.
