Good Girls follows three strong women who make some questionable decisions in desperation to help their families out of their various holes. The three mothers find themselves involved in the criminal world of counterfeit money and the mix of these very different worlds leads to a show with an eclectic cast of characters.

Whether these characters are serving as allies or roadblocks, they all add to the crazy situation these girls got themselves into. Beth, Annie, Ruby, and the rest of the characters have a range of personalities large enough that to represent each and every sign of the Zodiac.

Dean: Aries

Dean Good Girls

The Ram is perfect to represent the confident and charismatic salesman Dean Boland. Dean is great at turning on the charm and convincing people to buy whatever it is he is selling. It's that trait that allowed him to get away with his affair, which happened due to his trait of selfishness.

His Aries traits of determination and honesty allowed him to win Beth back. Unfortunately, his impulsiveness and impatience lead to screwing himself over when he eagerly handed over the spa's financial records, thinking he was securing a deal with a huge Spa company when in reality he was securing his spot in jail.

Boomer: Taurus

Boomer on the floor with his hands raised

Taurus are known for being self-indulgent, greedy, and stubborn, all of which can be seen in Leslie Peterson AKA: Boomer. Very few people like Boomer, the pervy manager who takes advantage of his employees in more than one way and secretly lets Rio’s gang funnel money through his store.

His character takes all the negative Taurus traits and raises them to the max. His only redeeming quality is his love for his grandmother which can be attributed to the fact that Taurus can be very warmhearted. But maybe if he would have extended that trait to more than her, he would have met a better end.

Mr. Fitzpatrick: Gemini

Good Girls Fitzpatrick

Mr. Fitzpatrcik, while one of the newest characters, has made quite the impression. He comes off as very sophisticated, liking the luxuries of life, which he pays for by charging top dollar for his services.  His services just happen to be killing people for money.

His two sides make him the perfect match with the twin sign and a great antagonist. He most recently put his  Gemini traits on display when he took Beth out to dinner and goes from talking about the complex taste of radishes to punching out the chef for undercooking Beth's salmon.

Ruby Hill: Cancer

Stan and Ruby sit side by side

Ruby has known Annie and Beth since they were young and her Cancer traits of loyalty and protectiveness have shown brightly through their friendship. Homelife is very important to her as it is with most Cancers and she risks everything to help her ill daughter.

She steps up often to do the undesirable tasks and she even takes it in stride when she gets shot because, in the end, everyone was okay. She might be a little moody like a Crab can tend to be but in the end, she is a great mother and wife just doing the best she can and would make any Cancer proud.

Rio: Leo

Rio looking smug

What better character to be the intimidating, calculating Lion than the ringleader of it all, Rio? His Leo traits of broadmindedness and creativity help him keep his underground business going even when the feds get close to sniffing him out.

He, like most Leos, can come off as patronizing and pompous, but there is a Lion in him that also causes him to be self-indulgent and intolerant when people mess up, good qualities in a gang leader but not so much in a friend or boyfriend. The dynamic between him and the girls is interesting and entertaining.

Max: Virgo

Max is first introduced as the subservient and utterly loyal boyfriend to sweet Lucy. He proves he is a Virgo right away by his eagerness to be of service to people. He's the epitome of reliability and is completely lost without Lucy.

His Virgo traits of being a worrier and over-analytical cause him to realize early on that she's missing and leave the girls no choice but to tell him what happened. He wants to kill Rio to avenge her death but his Virgo nature just wouldn't let him pull the trigger.

Stan Hill: Libra

Stan Hill has proved that he is possibly the best person on the show. He tries very hard to be a good person and even served as a cop. And although it seemed that Ruby went too far in her attempt to save her daughter's life, Stan found it in his heart to stick by her and find a new way.

Like a Libra, he lets himself be swayed by those he loves and it gets him into some sticky situations but due to his high moral compass, charm, and easygoingness, he figures ways out of the fire in true Libra fashion.

Beth: Scorpio

Beth Good Girls

On the surface, Scorpio Protagonist Beth Boland seems like the perfect PTA mom, but in the midst of all the baking and event planning,  she manages to contribute to a criminal money-washing scheme. And while the criminal activity started as a way to get her family out of debt, she kept at it to fill the boredom she felt, as Scorpios are known to need a lot of stimulation.

Her Scorpio magnetism and passion seem to attract powerful people like Rio and Mr. Fitzpatrick to her life so she better be careful. A Scorpion has been known to sting itself if it feels likes it's drowning.

Annie: Sagittarius

Annie In Good Girls

Annie is the blindly optimistic daredevil of the group and likes to dive headfirst into a situation. She, like most members of the Sagittarius sign, has trouble with authority and doesn't do well with responsibility. She's the last to volunteer as a leader but the first to volunteer if a good time is to be had.

She has a hard time lying and like the fire sign, she has a great sense of humor, even if she pulls it out at the most inappropriate times. She also believes that though she is lost, she will stumble into the right path, a trait that many Sagitropus seem to share.

Detective Pheobe: Capricorn

Phoebe In Good Girls

Detective Phoebe is a great example of a Capricorn. She can be pessimistic, even fatalistic at times while still being very practical and well-disciplined, going after the clues with a tenacity that can only be fueled by Capricorn's ambition and the fact that, like most Capricorns, she has trouble letting go of the past.

Her past experience with girls like Beth, or whom she assumes Beth to be, has led her to be single-minded and miss some of the clues but her Capricorn sense of social responsibility might lead her to solve the case.

Ben Marks: Aquarius

Good Girls Ben

Ben has had to grow up fast, due to his parents having him when they were young. His intelligence and logicalness are what helped him take care of Annie, who sometimes lacked those qualities.

Like most members of this air sign, he is sure of himself and knows what he wants, and his Aquarius independence has helped him realize early on exactly who he wanted to be. He is independent and truly original and he should have no problem making friends in his life if he keeps utilizing those Aquarius traits.

Tyler: Pisces

Good Girls Tyler

In a show about criminals and counterfeit money, there are not many characters who would be considered selfless and compassionate, but thankfully there is Tyler to bring those traits. He somehow manages to stay pretty innocent through everything, even if he was drawn into one of the heists due to his Pisces traits of sometimes being weak-willed and easily led.

He has the purest intentions of all the characters and is a true Pisces with his sympathy for even the likes of Boomer and his kind heart that loves to be a shoulder to lean on.
