The HGTV series Good Bones stars mother-daughter duo Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen Laine, and it's time to share some interesting facts about Cory Miller, who is also a cast member. Mina and Karen own an Indianapolis-based renovation company, Two Chicks and a Hammer. In addition to their own series, Karen and Mina were also part of an HGTV "star team," which appeared on the 2019 special, A Very Brady Renovation. Cory has worked for Two Chicks and a Hammer since 2016, the same year the series premiered. Cory may not be related to his co-stars, but he clearly still has a close bond with them. Years before they became TV stars, he and Mina were friends in high school. He works the most with Tad, who is the show's assistant project manager. His coworkers even have a pet name for him: "Toey." The nickname came courtesy of Mina's niece Julie, who couldn't pronounce Cory. Like his co-stars, 32-year-old Cory is an Indianapolis resident. In his own family, he is one of three children. Cory's posts show off the Good Bones cast's close friendships and fun personalities. However, the real star of his Instagram page is his adorable pet pig, Christopher Wallace (Topher for short). Cory also shares photos of him with his girlfriend, Shelby Lynn Wade. Shelby is a nurse, and judging by her Instagram, she is an animal lover like Cory. Along with their two pigs, Cory and Shelby own dogs, cats, and chickens. According to The Cinemaholic, in addition to their own pets, the adorable couple fosters animals, and helps them to get adopted.
Part of the reason Good Bones is a success is its likable stars, and Cory is one of them. His love for all aspects of his job, from construction to the people he works with, is quite evident, on and offscreen. Viewers definitely look forward to seeing more of Cory in the future.
