New Godzilla vs. Kong posters have revealed the exact height of both titans. The upcoming film, which features an ensemble cast including Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Julian Dennison, and Shun Oguri, will pit the two cinematic behemoths against one another for the first time in decades, promising to ascertain a clear winner and loser. Godzilla vs. Kong releases in the US in theaters and on HBO Max on March 31.

Both Godzilla and Kong have seen numerous changes in shape and size over the course of their many decades on camera, and that trend will continue in Godzilla vs. Kong. Kong has grown significantly since his first MonsterVerse appearance in Kong: Skull Island, which apparently is due to the time that has passed in the interim. The MonsterVerse’s Godzilla is one of the kaiju’s biggest and beefiest versions ever seen on film, though it’s also not the tallest ever.

Thanks to a set of new posters, both Godzilla and Kong’s heights have been officially confirmed for the new movie. The posters, shared on Twitter by Kaiju News Outlet, say that Godzilla will clock in at 120 meters (394 feet) tall, and Kong will stand a bit shorter at 102 meters (335 feet) tall. The trailer footage released so far has made it tough to tell any major difference in size, but it looks like Godzilla is still the biggest monster in the fight.

At a size disadvantage and lacking any power akin to Godzilla’s atomic fire breath, King Kong will have to rely heavily on his superior speed and dexterity if he wants to become the new alpha titan. Kong’s axe, shown in a few different promotional shots, is a perfect example of how the ape may be able to use tools and enhanced tactics to his advantage. Even still, he’ll have his work cut out for him against a Godzilla standing nearly 400 feet tall.

Both Godzilla and Kong will also have teams of human characters on their side. Millie Bobby Brown’s Madison Russell will lead the Godzilla team in a mission to figure why he’s suddenly gone berserk. That answer is likely tied to the new Apex cybernetics group, which could also be behind the reported Mecha-Ghidorah appearance in the film. With lots of other brand-new titans entering the fray as well, the duel between Godzilla and Kong could turn into an all-out war. The fate of the MonsterVerse will hang in the balance when Godzilla vs. Kong releases on March 31.
