A variation of the Godzilla vs. Kong poster depicts the giant reptile about to battle Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu instead of the ape. The tall lady in the upcoming Resident Evil installment became a big talking point on social media. Recently, Capcom revealed she is a whopping over 9 feet tall.

Every year brings with it notable film and video game releases. One of the biggest movies of 2021 is next month's Godzilla vs. Kong. The crossover is bringing together the two most iconic creatures for a clash of the century. After an information drought, Legendary finally released the trailer last month. Although fans were excited before, the hype has soared since the trailer's debut. It has seen widespread praise across social media. Meanwhile, one of the more notable video game titles releasing this year is Resident Evil Village. It will be the first non-remake game in the series since 2017's Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Anticipation is high, as it looks to feature the high-quality gameplay the RE Engine has been delivering. Although the story seems unique, easily the most talked-about aspect of the game is Lady Dimitrescu. Little is known about this exotic character, but footage reveals she and her daughters will be causing Ethan Winters a lot of trouble.

The Godzilla vs. Kong poster has been recreated (via BossLogic) with Lady Dimitrescu in place of the giant ape. For some, this crossover might even be superior to the real deal. Check it out below.

Of course, Lady Dimitrescu's real height still wouldn't quite match Godzilla's stature. Scaled to his size, though, would yield something genuinely terrifying. Throughout the years, Godzilla has battled many unique opponents, from three-headed space dragons to a monster made up entirely of sludge. The vampiric Lady Dimitrescu could be another fun opponent for the King of the Monsters. Plus, the extent of her abilities isn't even known yet. Fans should see exactly who she is when Resident Evil Village launches this May.

It will be interesting seeing how Resident Evil Village does in reception and sales. The story might be the most unique of the games, incorporating a European setting and werewolf-like creatures. It will also be the first PS5 Resident Evil experience. Everything seems to be in its favor for a big success. Meanwhile, things are aligning in Godzilla vs. Kong's favor as well. The trailer debut was the highest ever for Warner Bros. It looks like it will be a good year for both franchises.
