God of War Ragnarök has blown fans away as it concludes the Norse Saga part of Kratos's journey. Many fans are excited to see what's next but are content to stay exploring the Nine Realms for the time being.

GoW Ragnarök possesses quite a few different side quests in the game called Favors. Each of these side quests grants the player some experience points alongside their companion and some quests also give the player some unique rewards, however, not every side quest gives the player a reward.

11 In Service Of Asgard

In Service of Asgard will be the first side quest that players have the opportunity to go on. Thankfully, it gives good rewards to start players off. Completing the quest gives Kratos 500 XP and his companion (either Atreus or Freya) 125 XP.

Players will also receive the Nidavellir Ore which they can use to make the Nidavellir’s Finest armor set. This armor set primarily focuses on granting Kratos more strength, defense, and vitality. It also has a unique ability that grants Kratos some health when he stuns an opponent.

10 The Desert Door

The Desert Door is a bit of a lengthy quest as the player must travel the desert trying to find two keys to open a locked door far north in the desert of Alfheim. However, this is also an opportunity to find multiple resources thanks to all the frost areas the player will pass.

Upon completion, Kratos will receive 1000 XP and Freya, 250 XP. The item that players will want the most is Skirnir’s Gambanteinn which can be used to forge the Hilt of Angravadall. This hilt allows Kratos to unleash a wave of Shock to electrify enemies.

9 Guiding Light

The Guiding Light quest can feel a bit draining to complete but is good for players to complete who aren't quite satisfied with their current armor set. Each rune stone that Kratos needs to read for the quest will have a legendary chest nearby with a piece of the Guiding Light armor set in it.

This armor set is perfect for players who want to focus on luck. The armor is good for strength and defense as well and will help increase those stats even further amidst battle thanks to giving Kratos higher stats of luck. Completing the quest will also give Kratos 750 XP and his companion 200.

8 For Vanaheim!

Upon completion of this quest, Kratos will receive 3000 XP and his companion will receive 750 XP. The player will also obtain 75 Whispering Slab materials and the item that makes the quest truly worth completing, the Rönd of the Realms.

The Rond of the Nine Realms is a shield attachment that increases Kratos's defense by 18 and his luck by 22. This shield also has the chance to trigger a Realm Shift when Kratos parries with it, slowing down the surrounding enemies for an opening to strike with the various weapons he possesses in GoW Ragnarök.

7 Freya's Missing Peace

This quest is one of the best quests to undergo for Freya, one of the best-portrayed gods in GoW Ragnarök. Only Freya gets experience from this quest and is given 1500. There are also several other items obtained that are perfect for Freya.

The player receives the Mardöll, an excellent sword that deals greatly increased Bifrost on enemies. Steel Harmony is also a Runic Summon granted to Freya and one of the best she can get in the game which has her attack by stunning enemies and inflicting them Bifrost. The last item is purely for aesthetic but is the Royal Vanir Garments, one of the outfits players can equip Freya with.

6 Defend Your Valor

Defend Your Valor is one of the toughest quests to complete solely because the player must defeat Gná, one of the hardest bosses in the game, if not the hardest. GoW Ragnarök continued to bring forth hard Valkyrie boss fights like in GoW (2018) which were some of the hardest bosses to beat in GoW games.

However, completing this quest is worth it and grants Kratos and Freya both 4000 XP. This quest also gives a new outfit for Freya called the Queen's Armor. Freya also has access to a new Runic Summon called Queen's Roar, which is her best Runic Summon in the game and deals a massive amount of Sonic or Hex damage depending on the arrow she has equipped. Kratos also gets a new shield equipment called the Rönd of Obliteration that has very balanced stats.

5 The Mysterious Orb

The moment players can access this quest they should embark upon it immediately. In this quest, they will discover parts of Lunda's lost broken armor that can be forged for free after the quest is completed.

This is one of the best sets of armor players can craft in GoW Ragnarök and is called Lunda's Lost Armor set. For many players, they likely won't replace it for most of the game. This quest also gives Kratos 1000 XP and his companion 250 XP.

4 Across The Realms

The rewards for this quest give Kratos 1000 XP and his companion 350 XP. As the name suggests, this is a bit of a lengthy quest as the player needs to retrieve multiple items from four different realms.

However, it's well worth it as the primary reward the player gets is something called the Meal of Comfort. The Meal of Comfort permanently raises all the player's stats by 5 points. This is quite the boon and doesn't require the player to equip anything. As long as they complete the quest, they'll receive the boost.

3 Quaking Hollow

The Sinkholes in Vanaheim is a great location for players because of the numerous dragons there granting the player the necessary items to forge the Dragonscale armor set. Players will also get a Dragon Claw at the end of the quest for those who need to upgrade said armor.

At the end of the quest, the player will receive 4500 XP for Kratos and 1125 XP for their companion. The other reward they receive is called Regenerating Essence, which grants Kratos constant regeneration. Players can also get a Greater Regenerating Essence later outside this quest.

2 The Eyes Of Odin

The Eyes of Odin is perhaps the most frustrating quest in the game that most players will likely skip. This is because every single raven of Odin's needs to be destroyed to complete the quest. However, as the player slowly completes this quest they get several rewards from legendary chests like the Ravens Tears armor set.

At the end of the quest though, Kratos receives 10,000 XP and his companion receives 2500. The player also gets the Hilt of Forsbrandr, one of the strongest relics the player can get that slams enemies backward and protects Kratos briefly from damage.

1 Fit For A King

Fit for a King is easily one of the most difficult quests to complete due to the rigorous berserkers the player must fight to complete it. However, the rewards are plentiful, granting the player useful and rare materials like Gale Flame and Frozen Flame.

The player also receives the Berserker Armor which increases the damage of Kratos's attacks after he uses a relic but also increases the damage he receives. Players will also find the Hilt of Skofnung useful that they obtain which shoots out several ghost-like blades that increase damage against enemies inflicted with Sonic.
