Glee Club: Don't Stop Believing

The Glee Club itself has had a number of group songs over the years, but one has come to define the team, no matter how much time has passed. It's been sung multiple times and is really the anthem of the entire show.

Don't Stop Believing was the finale of the original pilot episode and quickly showed what the group could achieve if they just kept pushing their talents further. The show is all about fulfilling dreams and this song perfectly encapsulates that.

Rachel Berry: Don't Rain On My Parade

Rachel Berry is the star of the show for the first few seasons. She craves the spotlight and always struggles with allowing others to take her place. Her original star making performance has to be Don't Rain On My Parade.

It demonstrates her struggle to the top, with this award winning performance showcasing that she does belong on Broadway but she has a lot of challenges ahead and self-learning to do before she can really become the true star she is meant to be.

Finn Hudson: Losing My Religion

This song came during a more comedic episode, where Finn thought he'd seen Jesus on a grilled cheese. Nonetheless the song actually talks to much deeper struggles that Finn goes through in other episodes of the show.

Mercedes Jones: Beautiful

Mercedes has had a number of personal arcs throughout the show, but one of the initial stories that really touched a lot of people was the struggle she had with self image while trying to be a supporting member of the Cheerios.

She decided to sing a powerful rendition of Beautiful, which showcased her natural talents and her real ability to perform. She embraced herself, stepped into the spotlight and demonstrated she was a hidden star in Glee Club.

Santana Lopez: Valerie

Santana has actually come to be associated by Valerie, after her initial performance of the Amy Winehouse song was so captivating. In fact, she's performed it again on the show, although the second time round as a duet.

This was Santana's first major performance at a competition and it demonstrated that she was another hidden gem in the group. She took the team to victory and cemented her role as a Glee mainstay.

Kurt Hummel: For Good

Kurt Hummels initial pitch to be a leader of the group failed when he couldn't hit a note in Defying Gravity. As he continued to follow his dreams and looks to the future, he finds himself on the set of Wicked with Rachel.

Quinn Fabray: Say A Little Prayer

This may have been Quinn's first song for Glee Club but it actually says a lot about the arc that the character will go on throughout the show. She has a number of personal struggles that she has to overcome.

Brittany has always been a free spirit and has a had a number of weeks where she really excelled, including throughout Britney Spears week. Her performance of I Want To Dance With Somebody is one of her best though.

It really defines her relationship with Santanna and demonstrates her fun personality. She's one of the happiest members of the Glee Club and it's good to see a song really showcase that spirit.
