TV shows are like trucks. The more goods they carry, the higher the chance that some will be dropped along the way. This happens for a variety of reasons such as actors leaving or the writers deciding that a specific storyline is not intriguing enough. Sometimes the showrunner and writers just forget what they were working on before.

Such was the case with Glee. The Fox musical had covered most of its storylines by the time the finale aired in March 2015 but a number were left hanging, forcing viewers to come up with their own conclusions. Maybe Brody has a family now while Sunshine has 5 chart-topping pop albums.

Brody And Cassandra's Relationship

Cassandra calls Rachel

Finn and Rachel decided to pause their marriage plans at the end of Season 3. Rachel went to NYADA while Finn applied to join the Marines. Rachel bumped into Brody Weston again and the two found themselves flirting. They then began dating after Finn and Rachel officially ended things.

After seeing each other for a few weeks, Brody moved in with Rachel. Their relationship was getting deeper by the day but they broke up after Rachel discovered he was a sex worker. Brody then began seeing Cassandra, upsetting Rachel in the process. It's impossible to tell how far the relationship with Cassandra went, and Brody simply fell off the map.

Finn's Quadriplegic Friend

Sean in Glee

In the first season, Rachel was worried about the possibility of throat surgery and losing her voice. Finn decided to introduce Rachel to his quadriplegic friend Sean to show her what real loss means. Sean had been left paralyzed after a football accident.

Sean immediately developed a crush on Rachel and asked her if she was seeing someone. He also had a deep conversation with her about losing a key ability or the functionality of an important part of the body. When Rachel's condition got better, she thanked Sean for helping her with her recovery process and offered to give him singing lessons. Perhaps a romance would develop? No! Sean was never seen again.

Robin's Paternity

Sue holds Robin

Sue's baby Robin only appeared twice in the series, though she was mentioned a couple of times. At one point, she claimed that popular singer Michael Bolton was the father. She even reminisced how he was good in bed and had the ability to go all night. Shortly after that, it was implied that Sue was lying.

Fox News reporter Geraldo Rivera, showed a video in which Michael Bolton claimed that he didn't know who Sue was. Cornered, Sue added that she couldn't prove that the star was indeed the father. After that, Robin was never mentioned again, leaving fans wondering about her paternity.

Sandy's Drug Dealing Career

Sue and Sandy sit on a sofa in Glee

For a brief moment, Rythm Explosion's former director Sanford Ryerson was the go-to drug dealer for William McKinley High School. After getting a restraining order, he began selling marijuana to students and staff away from campus. Ken, Noah, and Will became some of his favorite customers.

Sandy was also a drug dealer with a conscience. He refused to sell weed to depressed people so that they wouldn't attempt suicide. After the second season, he just disappeared. Did a new dealer take over? Hard to tell.

Blaine's Infidelity

Kurt and Blaine read a magazine while cuddling in a sofa

Soon after Kurt went to New York, Blaine cheated on him and the two ended up breaking up. By Season 5, Blaine was planning to propose to Kurt. But what happened to the cheating? They moved past it like it never happened.

There have been a couple of cheating cases in Glee but they were always explored in detail. Either the two parties worked through it or broke up completely. It's thus strange that Blaine hurt Kurt's feelings and they simply breezed past it like it was a normal setback. Blaine should have at least been forced to work hard to regain Kurt's trust.

The Performance Enhancement Incident

Terri in Glee

Terri's list of sins is quite long. Before she broke up with Will, she used her position as the school nurse to administer a drug to club members. Apparently, the drug was supposed to make them more focused as they were all tired and had difficulty getting any work done. When her actions were discovered, she was fired.

The incident was buried after that. Despite the fact that Terri had gotten her job without any medical qualifications, there wasn't a major scandal or inquiry. Issues like that tend to be taken seriously but Terri avoided any serious consequences.

Sunshine's Status After Choosing To Stay In America

Sunshine in Glee

Philippine foreign exchange student Sunshine Corazon was one of the most talented singers in the entire series. Rachel felt threatened by her and even tried to sabotage her opportunities a couple of times.

Vocal Adrenaline director Dustin Goolsby took advantage of her rivalry with Rachel and got a green card for her so that she could compete for his side. When Sunshine learned that Dustin had given a bribe to get the green card, she decided to go back to the Philippines but a remorseful Rachel convinced her to stay and compete. Despite choosing to stay in America, Sunshine didn't entertain fans any further.

Kurt's Internship At Vogue

Kurt in Glee

While waiting for the NYADA winter audition in Season 4, Kurt relocated to New York where he began living with Rachel. In order to get some job experience, he applied for an internship position with Vogue Online.

He got the internship and worked under Isabelle Wright. She took a liking to him due to his interest in fashion and became his mentor. Despite the two having a great working relationship, the storyline never crossed over to the next season.

Quinn's Secret Past

Quinn in Glee

As Lauren Zizes was attempting to become prom queen, she exposed Quinn's past. All the students and teachers at William McKinley High found out that Quinn's named used to be “Lucy Caboosey.”

Lauren made posters with Quinn's older pictures and placed them all over the school. Quinn remained gracious throughout the whole fiasco and didn't do anything desperate to clear her name. Interestingly, this incident was never brought up again. In a school where every detail mattered, this was a surprise.

Sebastian Smythe's War With The New Directions

Sebastian and Blaine

Before he was the superhero, Barry Allen, Grant Gustin appeared as an antagonist in Glee. Sebastian Smythe was introduced in Season 3 as the lead singer of the Warblers, and he did his best to ensure his group got the better of the New Directions.

He was later demoted from the position of captain before being reinstated again. His contributions to the plot reduced gradually, and he was last seen helping Blaine as he tried to propose to Kurt. After that, he was never heard from again.
