Obviously, Rachel is also part of countless ensemble numbers along with the rest of the characters, but it is through her solos that she really became iconic. But with so many great songs to choose from, what were Rachel's 10 best solos throughout the series?

"Uninvited"

Something that Rachel really was great at was conveying pure emotion within her performances during solos and a great example of that is "Uninvited." She really took this song and brought absolutely everything she had to it, ensuring that it was one audience would remember.

There was tons of emotion put into things and that was clear from her voice and her fantastic acting. It might not have been a big show tune or something that happened in a competition, but it's still one of her greatest solos.

"Let It Go"

That's right, the iconic Idina Menzel track from Disney's hit Frozen. This song perfectly fits into the world of Glee and Rachel Berry was really the only character with the voice capable of belting this one out, which she certainly managed to do.

It was an amazing performance and a breathtaking solo which showcased just how great her vocal range is. Few can perform this as well as Menzel does, but Rachel Berry is able to really compete with that, proving just how strong her voice is.

"Go Your Own Way"

Normally, Rachel performs songs where she can really belt out the vocals, many of which tend to be quite emotional and have a show aspect to them. That's why this particular song is so great because it's something totally different from the usual wheelhouse that she performs from.

There is a different element to this track and the rock style performance is something that worked really well with her character. It might not have been her go-too style song, but it is certainly still a great one.

"Jar Of Hearts"

This is a song that was just perfectly suited to Rachel Berry's voice, and she certainly nailed the performance of this one. Taking place at prom while looking on at others dancing, it was clear Rachel was in a very emotional place, which led to her belting this one out with a ton of passion.

It was a superb moment and one that had a great contrast with lots of romance happening on the dancefloor, all while Rachel was suffering heartbreak as she delivered this amazing performance.

"It's All Coming Back To Me Now"

Another great song that is incredibly well-known is, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and it was, yet again, something that suited Rachel Berry very well. It was the right tone and allowed for big notes with plenty of power behind them.

These were the songs where Rachel really was able to show off a little bit and that's exactly what happened within this number as she could really jump into the tune and make it her own.

"My Man"

This is the exact type of performance that Rachel Berry is remembered for. It's powerful, emotional, and she really gets to belt out some huge notes in order to make the song work perfectly for her, which is a really fun moment within any episode.

In Glee, she sings all about Finn here which makes a great scenario for audiences to think about with every lyric. While he's no around for this one directly, that actually makes the song more powerful as she sings all about what he means to her.

"Cry"

"Cry" is another song that Rachel gets to really belt out with pure emotion and passion which is why it is so good. After messing up her audition, Rachel is certainly very emotional and clearly wants to let her anger out which she does all within this one Glee song.

It's a brilliant performance and while it is a low moment for her character, it does lead to an absolutely brilliant song and that is certainly a good thing as this one is a very memorable song.

"Roots Before Branches"

This song is a perfect example of Glee at its very best, acting and telling great emotional stories through song. Coming in right at the end of season three, this is the big moment when Finn and Rachel part ways with Rachel heading for New York and Finn calling off their relationship to stay and help his father.

This is the song that Rachel sings as she is leaving, getting on board the train and looking back, no longer able to see Finn or her friends. It creates a really emotional Glee moment and is a real changing of the guard helping it become very iconic, not to mention, there's also some fantastic singing, but that's a given.

"Papa, Can You Hear Me?"

One of Rachel's very best solos came when Burt is in his hospital bed which leads to her singing by his side in the hope that he would get better. It's a really emotional moment because of what the song means to the scene, and it fits in perfectly.

Things start out with her singing about Finn in a park, but then take a much more emotional Glee twist with the reactions of the other characters in the hospital really being a telling sign as to how good this song is.

"Don't Rain On My Parade"

When it comes to iconic songs from Glee, Rachel Berry performing "Don't Rain On My Parade" is easily one of the most recognizable and memorable songs. Of course, with Rachel being such a huge fan of Barbra Streisand, this was a huge moment for her character, which is what makes it so great.

This was a serious sense of competition as well, as Jane Addams Academy steal their originally planned song. Because of that, the group scramble this together, and Rachel performs it with even more passion than ever as she is so fired up.
