The first official trailer for Netflix's upcoming series Glamorous features Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall as she attempts to build a cosmetics empire. The series stars Cattrall as Madolyn Addison, a legendary model whose cosmetics business is on the downturn, and Miss Benny as Marco Mejia, a young gender non-conforming queer man whose life is in need of a jump start when Addison takes a chance on him.

Netflix has revealed the first look at Miss Benny and Cattrall (who recently made headlines for her bombshell And Just Like That season 2 return) as Marco and Madolyn through the first official Glamorous trailer, with the show set to premiere on the streaming platform on June 22. The Glamorous trailer efficiently sets up its premise, which sees Marco score their dream job within Addison's company, only to swiftly realize it might be a bit harder than initially assumed.

Everything We Know About Glamorous

Kim Cattrall as Madolyn Addison in Glamorous

Glamorous was created and executive produced by Jordon Nardino, who previously worked on Star Trek: Discovery and Quantico as a co-executive producer. He also wrote four of the 10 episodes for Glamorous season 1. Damon Wayans Jr. and Kameron Tarlow will also executive produce through their company Two Shakes Entertainment. Alongside Cattrall and Miss Benny, the show will star Zane Philips as Madolyn's son and director of sales Chad, and Jade Payton as Madolyn's no-nonsense assistant Venetia.

Glamorous' story focuses on the relationship between Madolyn, whose makeup business is failing due to what she believes is sabotage, and Marco, who is trying to learn about themself and what they want out of life in general. Madolyn hires Marco to investigate the supposed sabotage. In return, she teaches Marco everything she knows about business and success. Glamorous is also just the latest of Cattrall's LGBTQ+ projects following her appearance in Peacock's Queer As Folk reboot.

Also starring in Glamorous will be Michael Hsu Rosen as Ben, Ayesha Harris as Britt, and Graham Parkhurst as Parker. In a nod to the show's LGBTQ+ themes, there will also be several famous drag queens making cameos in the show, including Monet X Change, who finished sixth in RuPaul's Drag Race season 10, as well as Charlene Incarnate, Chiquitita, and Serena Tea. Glamorous will deal with themes of queer identity, self-worth, and trust as Marco goes on a journey of self-discovery and Addison tries to keep her empire from collapsing.
