Based on the 1987 American fantasy adventure, The Princess Bride has garnered a unique cult following since its release and has continued to be a beacon of light within the pop culture industry. Known for its hilarious quotes and unforgettable characters, the film will be celebrating 34 years of laughter and adventure this month.

With its first drop on September 28, just in time for the film’s 34th anniversary, and the second drop a week later, WAX’s The Princess Bride collection will feature 900 packs per drop, containing 10 cards per pack. Each pack will cost $100 and the collection will feature a variety of different rarities for fans to collect, making the adventure that much more exciting! A full breakdown of the collection’s rarities is as follows:
- Common - 20 designs per drop; 4,520 cards per drop
- Uncommon - 20 designs per drop; 2,720 cards per drop
- Rare - 20 designs per drop; 1,340 cards per drop
- Epic - 20 designs per drop; 400 cards per drop
- Legendary - 2 designs per drop; 20 cards per drop
Additionally, collectors can participate in “A Royal Treasure” challenge, as collectors gather a full set of the Common The Princess Bride NFTs and a free Bonus Pack will be delivered to their inventory. Each Bonus Pack contains 1 of 10 exclusive collector pieces featuring Sketch cards that are not available in regular packs. Collectors can also purchase from Open Edition Starter Packs (at a later date) and find two additional, unique Sketch cards. For a chance to win 10,000 WAXP, collectors will have to hold ALL 12 digital Sketch cards by November 1st.
