Peacock's newest comedy, Girls5eva from producers executive Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond and creator Meredith Scardino is about a '90s girl group desperately hoping to make a comeback after their hit song was sampled for a new number one hit. The all-star cast includes the likes of singer Sara Bareilles and Broadway star Renee Elise Goldsberry and they do plenty of music making over the course of eight episodes.

Each character is incredibly different from one another, with each member of Girls5eva having their own self-proclaimed 'thing' that makes them relatable and cool to their targeted audience. For Dawn it's her calm demeanor, for Summer it's her hotness and so on. These are just a few factors that go in to determining their zodiac signs and allowing viewers to find commonalities between themselves and these characters on an astrological level.

Aries: Kev

Kev and Summer in Girls5Eva.

Summer's boy-band husband Kev (Andrew Rannells) comes off as distant and self-absorbed. For one, he only comes home one day a month to be with Summer and their daughter Stevia. Secondly, he's always lying about his whereabouts and making his wife feel like the wild one in the relationship.

When Summer discovers the truth — Kev prefers to be alone with his crabs in Tampa — she realizes they need to divorce. Kev's selfishness and short fuse matches the energy of an Aries perfectly, but mostly just the negative qualities. He's passionate like the fire sign, just not when it comes to his marriage.

Taurus: Nick

Dean Winters as Nick in Girls5Eva

Dawn's brother Nick (Dean Winters) is level-headed like his sister and supportive when he truly believes in her.

Nick is a Taurus because of his dominant nature, and his independence when it comes to running a successful restaurant. He also proves to be quite and observant, carefully Wickie as she falls for two young men she believes to be the same person in Episode 4.

Gemini: Younger Gloria

Young Gloria at the center of Girls5Eva

Young Gloria (Erika Henningsen) feels like the odd girl out of Girls5eva. While the other girls are singing and chasing after boys, she watches from afar and struggles to come to terms with her sexuality.

Despite her internal struggles, young Gloria is incredibly adaptable as a Gemini and maintains her place as the most hardworking member of the band. She is outgoing and social, and innovative when it comes to finding ways to make Girls5eva's boy-obsessed music videos work for her (i.e. wearing a helmet in the Space Boys video).

Cancer: Ashley

Ashley Park posing for Girls5Eva

Poor Ashley (Ashley Park) doesn't live to see the re-emergence of her girl group due to death by infinity pool in 2004. However, during her time with the band she was the ring-leader and glue that held them all together.

As the self-proclaimed fun one of Girls5eva, Ashley possessed all traits of a cancer. Her loyalty to her best friends is what kept them going after their one hit wonder, and she was protective of their feelings and their careers. It only makes sense that this water sign went out with a splash.

Leo: Wickie

Wickie performing with Girls5Eva

Wickie (Renee Elise Goldsberry of Hamilton) might be the most Leo character ever to grace a television scene. Her confidence, dominance, and self-described fierceness is what drew people to Girls5eva, and left them wanting more after every performance.

Wickie loves being the center of attention, making her life look glamorous even when she was living out of a hotel room. Her belief in herself and in the girls is what got them back together, and like a true Leo she loves all things fabulous, like a state-of-the-art gold grand piano.

Virgo: Older Gloria

Paula Pell as the older version of Gloria in Girls5Eva

2021 Gloria (Paula Pell) is still hardworking and motivated, working both as a dentist and a member of the reformed Girls5eva.

As an older character, she's settled more into her personality, came out to all of her friends, and started putting herself first. The older version of her is absolutely an Earth sign, and a Virgo at that, due to her sensibility and practicality. She is also deeply loyal and intuitive, helping Summer realize that Kev is not the one for her.

Libra: Scott

Dawn's husband Scott in Girls5Eva

Dawn's lovable husband Scott (Daniel Breaker) is the epitome of a Libra. He is non-confrontational in his approach to Wickie's overbearing company in. his apartment, and supportive of his wife re-pursuing her dreams.

Scott loves his wife, his son, and his life, but also wants more: like space away from Wickie and another baby. But as a Libra he is also willing to compromise, and realizes what Dawn needs most is someone to be there to catch her if she falls, which is exactly what he does.

Scorpio: Alf

Stephen Colbert as Alf in Girls5Eva.

Stephen Colbert's Alf is a Swedish music composer that the girls visit in hopes of getting a new hit single. Instead, they get some harsh words of criticism; the world doesn't need or want them and their fresh take on ladies' pop.

The song Alf provides for the girls is very '90s and very sexist, but he is just doing what he thinks will get them the stardom they desperately desire. Alf is definitely a Scorpio given his ambition and honesty, and his overwhelming need to be in control.

Sagittarius: Lil' Stinker

Lil' Stinker talking to the members of Girls5Eva

Lil' Stinker (Jeremiah Craft) is the up-and-coming rapper that samples 'Famous 5Eva' in 2021, giving the girl group a surprise comeback.

The rapper embodies a Sagittarius with his spontaneous personality, like letting Girls5eva join his performance on Jimmy Fallon. He is optimistic in the sense that he saw success in their one-hit wonder and wanted to give it new life, and compassionate by giving them a second chance at stardom.

Capricorn: Dream Dolly Parton

Tina Fey as Dolly Parton in Dawn's dream in Girls5Eva

Like the true Dolly Parton herself, Dawn's dream Dolly Parton (played by Tina Fey in a wig) is a Capricorn.

Down-to-Earth Dolly is persistent in pushing Dawn to write a new song, knowing that there is talent inside of her. She is disciplined, but also a little bit of an overachiever, not letting Dawn take a break until she comes up with greatness. This ultimately leads Dawn to write the worst song ever.

Aquarius: Summer

Busy Philipps as Summer in Girls5Eva

Bubbly, air-headed Summer (Busy Philipps of Freaks and Geeks) is an air sign of course, but more specifically she is an Aquarius.

Summer is charming and unique, naming her daughter after a sugar substitute and showing nothing but pure excitement to get the band back together. She is unconventional, but prefers to be that way. Summer can come off as a little too idealistic, especially by seeing the positives in her marriage to Kev for so long that she was blinded by the fact they were never truly in love.

Pisces: Dawn

Dawn with her son in Girls5Eva

Dawn (Sara Bareilles) becomes the new glue of Girls5eva, bringing the band back together and writing them new hit singles despite the fact that they have all begun to settle into middle-age.

Dawn is a Pisces because she is creative and empathetic, going as far as to let Wickie and her massive piano live with her because she knows it's what her friend needs. She is self-described as 'the chill one' which also describes Piscean despite Pisces being a water sign. She is able to keep all the emotions she has in check and expresses them wisely.
