With every rewatch comes new emotions and findings that fans didn’t pick up on the first couple of times around and it keeps them up at night. Whether it’s a plotline or a silly decision, there are plenty of actions that have fans waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat over.

Lane Learned How To Play The Drums Awfully Quick...

Lane playing the drums in Gilmore Girls

It was Lane’s dream to be a musician, playing in a band and touring the world. Her upbringing didn’t allow her to follow her dream but she sure tried when a local music store opened up in Stars Hollow. The owner allowed her to play on the drums after hours as long as she didn’t stay too long. And shortly after that, Lane's storyline truly began: she was invited to be in a band. One fan pointed out something that bothered them, however. "How did lane learn how to play the drums so quickly?" Lane barely had any practice time and she somehow was an amazing drummer. How did she have enough time to learn more than the basics?!

Why Isn't Richard buried With The Rest Of The Gilmores?

Richard Gilmore's funeral on A Year in the Life on Gilmore Girls

In 'Richard in Stars Hollow,' Lorelai and Rory stop by Richard and Emily's to have dinner and drinks as always. Emily asked Lorelai if she ever planned on getting married because the Gilmores were running out of space at the family mausoleum. As it turns out, they have an entire area where the Gilmores are buried, including spaces for Lorelai and Richard.

Oddly enough, in the reboot Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Richard passes away and there's a funeral held for him in the graveyard. Emily had a hissyfit with the creators of his tombstone because it wasn't what she wanted. But, fans can't help but lie awake at night and ask what happened to the mausoleum? One fan even reminded others that "There was an entire subplot" about this mausoleum and it was ignored in the reboot.

Sookie Didn't Need To Cut Lunch

Lorelai and Sookie in the

After a few weeks of the Dragonfly Inn opening, Lorelai had to save money and cut costs somewhere. She decided that the best business decision was to cut Sookie's lunch because it wasn’t that popular at the Dragonfly and they were spending a lot of money and time in the kitchen. The only way to make it work was to cut lunch. Sookie, of course, was devastated and didn’t want to cut lunch. However, one fan noted a solution to the problem that keeps them up at night: "They could have cut food & staffing costs by switching to a cafe or bistro-style menu of sandwiches, soups, salads etc..." She didn't need to spend money on extra help in the kitchen if they had a smaller, simpler menu.

Lane Would Have Missed Her Flight To Korea

Lane and Rory talking about packing for Korea on Gilmore Girls.

Mrs. Kim has some of the best quotes in the series but she wasn't always the mother that Lane needed her to be. In one episode, Lane was upset to find out that her mom was yanking her out of school to ship her off to Korea. She told Rory that her flight left in two hours and that she needed to pack.

However, one fan noted that if she was taking an international flight to Korea, she would have been late. "Don't you have to be at the airport at least 2-3 hours before an international flight?", they asked Reddit. Presumably, she would have made the trip to JFK, which means Lane would have missed her flight right off the bat because she didn't give herself enough time.

Where Has Mr. Kim Been Hiding?

Gilmore Girls Lane and Mr Kim

Throughout Gilmore Girls, it's not really discussed where Lane's dad was. It had always been her and her "mama." But in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, something didn't add up. Suddenly, Mr. Kim appeared and waved to Lane and Rory. The fact that Mr. Kim was never seen in the original series but showed up in the reboot has fans questioning everything. "I always figured Mr. Kim was still in Korea," a fan noted, which is what made the most sense for Lane and Mrs. Kim.

Luke's Reaction To Breastfeeding Was Offensive

There are plenty of things that fans miss in Luke's Diner, but nothing gets by Luke. In 'Eight O'Clock at the Oasis,' a parenting group went to Luke's for coffee where a woman proceeded to breastfeed her child. Luke found the action awkward and wanted the mothers and fathers out of his diner. His "hissy fit" bothered fans because of how outlandish he was being. It's been 10 years since that episode and fans are still lying awake at night thinking about how inappropriate Luke's reaction was.

Sookie Was Not Sanitary In The Kitchen

Sookie was shown as this amazing chef who has rave reviews from anyone that tries her food. Her kitchen is always jammed-pack with fresh ingredients and she has a handful of workers that follow her around like a puppy. But one fan pointed something out on Reddit that now haunts other viewers: "Sookie keeps tasting food directly with her cooking spoon." This means that Sookie isn't as sanitary as she should be for such a well-known cook.

Would Anna Really Wait To Introduce Her Daughter To A Man Unless They Were Married?

Anna Nardini on the phone at home on Gilmore Girls

Anna Nardini has made plenty of mistakes in her lifetime; number one being not telling Luke that he had a child for over a decade. She started out so promising but as the series went on, Anna became a villain. It still torments fans that Anna told Lorelai that she didn't want Lorelai around her daughter unless she and Luke were married. She promised she'd do the same thing when she was ready to marry. But a fan made a good point, "What if April doesn't like the fiancé/spouse or vice versa?". It's hard to believe Luke or Anna would marry a person without April ever meeting them.

How Was Paris Able To Get Logan's Medical Information?

Rory pushing Logan in a hospital wheelchair on Gilmore Girls

Team Logan fans love watching episodes that highlight Rory and Logan's relationship but 'Super Cool Party People ' was not one of those episodes. After getting into a shattering accident in Costa Rica, Logan wound up in the hospital. But with Rory not being family, she had no way of getting more information on Logan's injuries. Lo and behold, Paris sweeps in and was able to find out everything Rory wanted to know. A fan noted that would rarely happen in "real life" because Paris had no connection to him and wasn't even in the hospital.

How Did Asher Have Paris In Her Will?

Paris and Rory after Asher's wake on Gilmore Girls

Depending on the fan, some liked Paris and Asher together while others were disturbed by them. Nevertheless, they clearly shared something special because when Asher died, he left Paris a series of things in his will. However, he and Paris weren't dating for that long. Did he really put his girlfriend of a few months in his will? As an older gentleman with children, fans can't help but overthink Paris's connection to Asher's will. A fan wrote, "I doubt that a world-famous lecturer/writer would leave his valuables to a floozie." It did, however, make a great storyline.
