The mutant underground and the Strucker family prepare for war in the promo for next week's episode of The Gifted.

Reed Strucker (Stephen Moyer) lived a normal life as a prosecutor for Sentinel Services until the day he discovered his children were mutants. Forced to go on the run from his former employers and colleagues, Reed looked to the mutant underground for refuge. However, Reed was arrested and nearly sold out the mutants to save his family, but then had a change of heart and is now committed to helping them fight Sentinel Services.

Next week's episode of The Gifted, titled "got your siX", will see the mutant underground preparing for war with their enemy. In the promo, fans can see Dreamer (Elena Satine) reminding Thunderbird (Blair Redford) of the X-Men's warning that "a war is coming." Thunderbird talks about taking the fight to the enemy while Caitlin (Amy Acker) and Polaris (Emma Dumont) argue about Laura (Natalie Alyn Lind) and Andy (Percy Hynes White) getting involved in the conflict.

FOX has also released a synopsis for the episode:

Determined to find out more information behind what Sentinel Services did to an old friend of his, Thunderbird spearheads a mission to get answers. Meanwhile, Lauren encounters a new friend with useful powers and Blink makes a big decision regarding her future in the all-new "got your siX" episode of THE GIFTED airing Monday, Nov. 6 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Also spotted in the promo is Garret Dillahunt's Dr. Roderick Campbell, who in the comic books becomes the mutant-hunting cyborg known as Ahab. At this point in the series, Dr. Campbell has appeared only briefly as a scientist working on a secret project for the Sentinel Services.

It was previously revealed that the character has an interest in mutant siblings, prompting him to look into the whereabouts of Lauren and Andy. So far, his motives remain a mystery. It's possible that Campbell's work for the Sentinel Services may also connect with the unfolding storyline surrounding Pulse (Zach Roerig), Thunderbird's friend who inexplicably turned on the mutants. Campbell's research may have led to a way to control mutants, which is also something that Polaris expressed her concerns about to Eclipse (Sean Teale) in last night's episode.

Polaris and Eclipse made attempts to learn about Pulse after capturing Turner (Coby Bell). Dreamer used her power to manipulate his memories but was unable to finish, resulting in Turner forgetting the death of his daughter. Turner had to relive the pain of losing her all over again, which could potentially cause the character to develop an even deeper hatred for mutants. If Turner discovers what Dreamer did to him, fans can expect the revelation to strengthen Turner's resolve.
