FOX released the synopsis for the fourth episode of The Gifted's debut season season. Check out the description for "eXit strategy" below:

When the mutants devise a plan to take down Sentinel Services, Eclipse seeks out an old friend from his dark past in order to obtain some useful information. Meanwhile, Lauren and Andy attempt to combine their powers in order to help the group in the all-new “eXit strategy”

Characters running in The Gifted

Pulse originally appeared after M-Day in X-Men comics, an event where many different mutants lost their powers. The character has at least one notable connection to a major X-Men character in Mystique, who uses him to try and sow discord amongst the X-Men over Rogue and Gambit's relationship. This new synopsis hints that Pulse will have a previous connection to Sean Teale's Eclipse and that their connection might be slightly unsavory. Given that Pulse is a thief in the comics, this could lead to trouble for the underground's leader.

The synopsis for "eXit strategy" also promises that Lauren and Andy are going to attempt to combine their powers to help their new allies. In the comics, the Strucker siblings were strong apart but even stronger together and able to do massive amounts of damage. So far The Gifted isn't letting up in terms of the frantic pace of the pilot. The addition of newer minor mutants from the comics plus the strong start for the series makes it a must watch for this fall television season. Fans still have yet to see Dreamer and Shatter in action.

Marvel's The Gifted stars Sean Teale as Eclipse, Jamie Chung as Blink, Blair Redford as Thunderbird, and Emma Dumont as Polaris. They're joined by Stephen Moyer as Reed Strucker, Amy Acker as Caitlin Strucker, Natalie Alyn Lynd as Lauren Strucker and Percy Hinds White as Andrew 'Andy' Strucker'.
