Ghosted star Chris Evans reveals that his upcoming action-comedy costarring Ana de Armas will feature cameos from his former Marvel costars. Set to be released on Apple TV Plus later this week, Ghosted is directed by Dexter Fletcher and stars Evans as Cole, a love-struck man who discovers that the woman of his dreams, de Armas' Sadie, is actually a secret agent. Before taking on the role of Cole, however, Evans was best known for playing Captain America in the MCU.

During a recent interview on Good Morning America, Evans shares that audiences can expect Ghosted's cast of characters to include brief cameo appearances from his former MCU costars. While he doesn't reveal in the interview who exactly will be showing up for cameos in Ghosted, some of Evans' former Marvel costars who could appear include the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Scarlett Johanson, and Mark Ruffalo. Check out Evans' comment or watch the interview clip below:

“There are some cameos, that’s right. Can we give that away? Yeah, we had some old Marvel buddies back. I hate asking people for cameos. It’s the worst!

“If it fits into their schedules I suppose, but these guys rose to the challenge. They were there for me, it was great.”

Ghosted's Cast & Characters Explained

Adrien Brody as Leveque getting mad in Apple's Ghosted

Evans plays the role of Cole and the character is revealed in the Ghosted trailer to be a "salt-of-the-earth" kind of guy from a more rural community. Sadie, on the other hand, remains a mysterious CIA spy, but the trailer shows that she's far more than the charming exterior she displays to Cole. De Armas is best known for appearing in No Time To Die as well as taking on the role of Marilyn Monroe in last year's controversial Blonde.

The central villain in Ghosted, Leveque, is played by Adrien Brody, who is best known for The Pianist and The Grand Budapest Hotel. It's unclear exactly what Leveque wants in the film and why, but he clearly wields a great amount of power, at one point demanding to an underling that "every bounty hunter on the continent" be hired to capture Sadie.

Beyond those three central roles, Ghosted also features performances from Tim Blake Nelson as Borislov, Tate Donovan as Cole's father, Amy Sedaris as Cole's mother, and Mike Moh as Wagner. It's unclear where exactly Evans' supportive former MCU costars will show up in the film, but a number of scenes in the trailer take place in public places with civilians, which could make for suitable cameo opportunities. It remains to be seen which Marvel stars will be showing up in Ghosted, but Evans' latest comment is sure to encourage viewers to watch the film a little more closely.
