Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut developer Sucker Punch has just released a new patch to fix an issue with the game’s Fundoshi Armor. Earlier this month, Ghost Of Tsushima received a massive expansion to go with its update on the PlayStation 5, adding a new story campaign that pitted Jin Sakai against a Mongolian army on the Japanese Iki Island.

However, while fans are readily enjoying the vast wealth of new content that came with Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut, some have reported a minor glitch involving Ghost Of Tsushima's alternate Fundoshi armor. This novelty costume is unlocked by resting in all 18 hot springs throughout the titular island of Tsushima, and humorously has Jin battle his enemies in nothing more than a cloth undergarment. Unfortunately, some players have come across a bug that causes the armor to become unavailable when they start a New Game Plus, which is frustrating given the amount of time it takes to unlock the Fundoshi suit in the first place.

A couple of days ago, Sucker Punch released the Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut Patch 2.07 update, which addresses several small issues with the PS5 version of the game. This includes the glitch that causes players to lose access to the Fundoshi armor while starting a New Game Plus, along with a few other problems with replaying missions and checkpoint reloads. Check out Sucker Punch’s Twitter post announcing Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut’s Patch 2.07 below:

Sucker Punch has continued to support Ghost Of Tsushima a full year after the game was launched as a swan-song for the PS4, even before the release of the massive Director’s Cut expansion. Last October, Sucker Punch added a new multiplayer co-op mode called Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends, which received a standalone release a couple of weeks ago. There have plenty of smaller updates to the main game as well, such as a patch that fixed a drifting issue with Ghost Of Tsushima’s excellent Photo Mode and a new charm that allows Jin to recruit dogs in his mission to free his homeland from the invading Mongolian army.

All in all, it’s great to hear that Sucker Punch is listening to player feedback and quickly working to address any issues in Ghost Of Tsushima, no matter how minor they may be. Players usually aren’t able to unlock the Fundoshi armor until the final hours of the game, so those who want to challenge the Khan’s deadliest forces in Jin’s simple bath wear will be relieved to know that they won’t have to worry about losing it then they start a new game of Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut.
