Warning! Spoilers for Avengers: Forever #2 by Marvel Comics

In Marvel's newest upcoming Multiversal adventure, Ghost-Rider will receive his greatest power-up in the character's history. In a brand-new preview for Avengers: Forever #2 by Marvel Comics, the solicit reveals the evil War Machines will capture Robbie Reyes. After being taken prisoner, the Avengers' current Ghost-Rider will endure physical torture that transforms him into "the most unbridled force for vengeance any universe has ever seen."

Over the years, Marvel Comics has introduced a handful of antiheroes who have taken on the Spirits of Vengeance and become different versions of the Ghost-Rider. Originally, Johnny Blaze took on the role in the Marvel Comics Universe, as the motorcycle-riding character debuted back in 1972's Marvel Spotlight #5. In the ensuing years, Danny Ketch, Robbie Reyes, Michael Badilino, and Kushala are among those who have taken on unique forms as different Ghost-Riders. Reyes is the current main Ghost-Rider in the Marvel Universe and is a member of the Avengers. However, Reyes is about to undergo a serious change that will give him quite the power upgrade.

Robbie Reyes' only hope is that the Avengers Forever squad consisting of different versions of heroes from across the Multiverse will be able to save him before it's too late. Among those on the rescue team include Invincible Ant-Man, Tony Stark from a different universe. Check out the solicit for Avengers: Forever #2 below.

On an alternate Earth ravaged by the Multiversal Masters of Evil, Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes has been taken prisoner by the planet's dark wastelords, the brutal War Machines. And what the Rider endures at their hands will change him forever — into the most unbridled force for vengeance any universe has ever seen. That's unless Ant-Man, Tony Stark and his bunch of ragtag heroes can pull off the mother of all rescues.

It's unclear how Robbie Reyes' Ghost-Rider is about to change, but the options are limitless, considering Avengers: Forever is a Multiversal epic. It will be fun to see what Ghost-Rider looks like after becoming an uncontained pure force of vengeance. Readers can see Ghost-Rider's greatest power upgrade when Avengers: Forever #2 comes to comic book stores in January.
