  Zak Bagans Brings Skeptics To Prove Them Wrong

One of the greatest things about Ghost Adventures is that the cast isn't shy about bringing along those who are skeptical of the paranormal. Zak Bagans has stated on numerous occasions that he wants to bring what they do to the attention of mainstream science and what better way to do so, that than to convert nonbelievers.

Zak loves bringing skeptics in the fray so that he can not only prove them wrong but allow others the opportunity to experience something that is literally beyond explanation. Most times, these skeptics leave believers, while others remain on the fence.

Ghost Adventures Vs Paranormal Researchers

While Ghost Adventures might be entertaining for television audiences, it has done serious damage to the reputation in the field of paranormal investigation. Ever since the show first aired back in 2008, paranormal researchers have been clamoring about its inaccuracies.

With many in the field claiming that locking themselves in a haunted, dark mansion at midnight is just for the cameras and doesn't reflect what actual paranormal researchers do. Skeptics in the paranormal field also point to the inaccurate information over the haunted places they investigate as evidence of the added showmanship the show portrays.

Transylvania Two Hour Special

During the Ghost Adventures two-hour special in Transylvania, they explored Hunedoara and Targoviste Castle. While also, investigating the haunted Hoia-Baciu Forest. When in Hunedoara Castle, they began to get voices in Romanian from the Spirit Box. When Zak asks the spirits of the castle to speak, a voice states "I spoke" in Romanian.

During their visit to Hoia-Baciu the investigators heard drumming deep within the forest. Shortly afterward, Zak begins to feel like something is trying to possess him, causing him unnatural anxiety. He later described the event as the most terrifying experience he has had on the show.

Hunting Ghosts With Motley Crue

Motley Crue singer, Vince Neil helped the boys of Ghost Adventures investigate the Riviera Hotel where the supposed ghost of none other than "Blue Eyes" himself Frank Sinatra is supposed to haunt. While on their adventure, Neil experienced an icy sensation in one of the rooms that possibly was of paranormal origin.

Vince Neil revealed while on the show that since the death of his 4-year-old daughter in 1995 from cancer, he has actively sought out her spirit using mediums and even claims to have made contact with her a few times.

First Paranormal Investigators Allowed At Night In Bachelor's Grove Cemetery

The Ghost Adventures researchers broke new ground when they were the first to be allowed to investigate the Bachelor's Grove Cemetery where workers who were killed building the Illinois and Michigan Canal were buried. It is also reported that Al Capone used the spot as a dumping ground for those he murdered.

During the investigation, Zak witnessed an orb glowing in the woods, while an EVP reading stated the words "I see it....light". During their time at the cemetery, Zak also caught a feathery mist flowing throughout the cemetery with his full spectrum camera.

Owner of Moon River Brewing Company Tested The Investigators' Abilities

Even those who believe in paranormal activities are sometimes nonbelievers in the tools used to read paranormal readings. Not to mention, all the fake paranormal investigators that prey upon peoples' beliefs. So when the owner of Moon River Brewing tested the Ghost Adventures researchers on where the most recorded hot spots for where ghost sightings have been seen or felt, the boys were up to the challenge.

The owner picked three spots for them to find and unsurprisingly they passed the test with flying colors, recording all three spots where paranormal activities were most present.

Aaron Goodwin Was And Possibly Still Is A Skeptic

When Aaron Goodwin joined as a paranormal researcher on Ghost Adventures, he was initially a skeptic of the paranormal. His belief that paranormal events could be explained by ordinary uneventful happenings is a reasonable approach but fans wouldn't know it by his behavior on the show, a behavior even he claims can be scripted.

This scripted behavior extends far beyond what fans might think, as according to Goodwin, the producers on the show coach the investigators on how to react to specific sounds. He even admits that the show's creators enhance certain readings to build up suspense.

Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum

Just having his own show on the Travel Channel isn't enough for Zak Bagans, as he has now opened up his own museum Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum. Bagans has been open in the past about wanting to mainstream paranormal research and what better way than to open up evidence for the audience to view.

Bagan's museum will house everything from famous horror movie props to an actual mummy. Even if tourists are not interested in the actual paranormal abilities of the possessions he houses, they will still be amazed at seeing Hollywood history right before their eyes.

First International Lock-down

Zak Bagans and his team of paranormal researchers have become accustomed to locking themselves in haunted buildings, but their first international lock-down occurred during season 1 when they explored the Edinburgh Vaults, reportedly haunted by Mary Queen of Scots and dead prostitutes.

During their lock-down, Zak began to feel disoriented and on one occasion a strange ball of light flies into his throat. A malevolent spirit nicknamed Mr. Boots make an off-screen appearance according to the investigators and a teddy bear that was placed in one of the rooms mysteriously moves when a child's laughter is heard.

Aaron Goodwin Worked For UFC

Aaron Goodwin sure knows how to make a career change. Before entering into the ring of paranormal investigations, Goodwin got his start behind the cameras working as a cameraman broadcasting UFC fights. In fact, it was during his time working for the UFC that he met Zak Bagans, who was doing an investigation nearby and needed someone experienced to help in the filming.

Goodwin agreed, completely unaware that his time filming could eventually lead to a permanent position for the paranormal team. Apparently, Bagans was quite impressed with his work, hiring him full-time to do camera duties.
